Mag-log inFinn watched as the target, Niam, approached with a cold expression.
Finn felt a little scared in his heart, but he found himself unable to hide. He had to win the target's heart, so he had to make the target happy. Hiding from the target would only make the target unhappy. Finn didn't want to make the target unhappy. He blinked rapidly as Niam got closer to him, and his neck was suddenly grabbed. Finn's eyes widened. He hadn't expected this. He held Niam's hand and looked into his eyes, trying to speak, but the fingers only tightened around his neck. Finn struggled. What was going on? The system also flickered with a blue light, unable to understand what was happening. Finn's legs dangled in the air as tears pooled in his eyes. Niam's eyes only darkened even more. "If you guys want to ruin my dad, you should target him directly." "Why do you keep disrupting my life?!" He yelled. His anger was palpable in his voice. Finn had a question mark in his head. Tears rolled down his face as he felt his throat being constricted. He really found it hard to breathe. But Niam didn't seem to care. His eyes kept flickering with emotions Finn couldn't understand, but one emotion hit Finn's heart directly:_ disappointment. Finn felt his heart ache slightly. He hadn't done anything to disappoint the target. He had even volunteered to be bullied. Why would the target still feel disappointed at him? "Niam, stop right now!" Finn's eyes darted to the person only to see the teacher sweating hard as he tried to convince Niam. The teacher grabbed Niam's arm, his voice trembling. "You'll kill him!" Niam snorted. "Kill him?" "If I do, then the bastards behind him will know I'm not someone they can easily target." "I might be young, but I'm not a pushover." He said grimly, but his eyes flickered with fear. His hold loosened, and he abruptly pushed Finn away. Finn slumped in his seat. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he coughed miserably. He rubbed his neck, gasping for breath. "Bad. Niam is so bad." He said with difficulty as he almost choked on his tears. "I didn't even do anything to him." "He's so bad." Finn cried pitifully. Niam's eyes twitched. The coldness in his eyes dissipated slightly, and he reached out as if he wanted to hold Finn but stopped when his fingers were only a few inches away from Finn's head. He ran his fingers through his hair and cursed under his breath. Finn's lips pursed. Disappointment flooded his heart when he saw Niam pulling back. His heart ached even more. "He wouldn't even apologize." "He hurt me so much, and he still wouldn't apologize." Finn found it hard to believe that someone could be so cruel. He glared at Niam, his green eyes etched with redness, and his face flushed with pain. "You are a bad person." He murmured and ran out of the class. "Finn!" He heard the teacher's call, but Finn didn't want to stop. His heart ached so much. He had no idea why Niam would treat him this way. All he wanted was to do his mission so he wouldn't die, so why would Niam want to kill him? Finn ran without direction and only stopped when he got under a thick tree. He sat on the root of the tree and hugged his knees, crying hard. The system appeared before him. "Sorry..." Even the system seemed to feel bad for him. Finn raised his swollen eyes to look at the system. "I don't want to do this anymore." He mumbled. "Can I not go near Niam anymore? I don't want him as a target again." His fingers rubbed his hot neck, and he could feel the marks on it even without checking with a mirror. "He tried to hurt me. He wanted to beat me up." He wiped his tears with the back of his hand. "I hate people who are violent." Finn almost choked on his tears. The system flickered and disappeared into Finn's mind. "You asked him to bully you." It mentioned. Finn's brows furrowed. "Hm." He mumbled. "Then, why are you crying?" "This is the best way to bully someone. He's only doing as you said." Finn froze. Was the target bullying him? Choking his neck... was that also bullying? Then... the target wasn't wrong? Finn hiccuped. "But it's so painful." "I don't want this kind of bullying." "It's so scary." He lowered his head as he cried painfully. He really didn't like such bullying. The system went quiet. It really had no knowledge of comforting someone. It silently hoped that the target would come to his mind sooner and console the host... ****************** Niam stared at the lonely back of the pretty boy as he ran out of class, and he felt a sharp pang in his heart. His fingers clenched into a fist. "Damn it." He cursed under his breath. The enemies really knew how to catch him this time around, sending someone so good at pretending to be him. They were throwing all their cards to ruin him. But why? The whole world knew he was a useless young master who only knew how to trouble others for a bit of joy. Why would his father's enemies continue attacking him? Niam sighed as he lowered his eyes to his phone's screen again. The same message from his father's secretary that informed him of a young boy enrolling in his school still played on his screen. But at that moment, another entered___ *The boy should resume tomorrow. Be careful, young master.* Niam froze in place.Franklin stared at Finn’s trembling lips.Something dark twisted in his chest. Then,He kissed him.Finn had no idea what was going on. His eyes widened in shock as the second target slammed their lips together. The kiss was rough and painful. Finn's lips hurt. He winced, but the second target only increased the momentum. By the time he was released, he felt a numbing pain in his lips. The smell of blood wafted into his nose. Finn's confusion and disbelief were obvious in his eyes. But before he could think further, the sound of his top tearing apart entered his ears, and his eyes widened. Lowering his eyes, he saw his exposed pink chest. "What... what are you doing?" He asked with shock and fear. The only person who had ever seen his body this way was Niam. Why would the second target do this?Franklin scoffed. "Didn't you want to play?" Finn w
The room was so quiet that the sound of a pin could be heard. Everyone looked at Finn with widened eyes and slackened jaws. Even Franklin's expression changed. His calm and polite eyes froze for a long while, and his expression tightened. His eyes remained on Finn, brewing with threats and danger. Finn suddenly shuddered. Even without thinking, he could tell something was wrong. The second target's expression had changed, and Finn suddenly felt fear in his heart. He took a step back. His dark green eyes held confusion as he looked at the second target. "Senior Franklin... I, I only want to play with you..." His voice was tiny and even filled with cracks. Franklin's eyes darkened even further. The earlier calmness was nowhere to be found. Finn was at a loss. He had no idea what to do. His eyes flickered, and tears slowly welled up within. He hadn't faced this situation before in his life. He felt scared and awkward. What was going on?Turning his head, Finn silently hoped
Finn fidgeted with the edge of the table before him as he waited for the system to finish telling him about the second target. [The target name is Franklin, and he is a second-year student. He's the heir to the Franklin consortium, one of the largest consortia in the country.][He grew up under the admiration of everyone around him...]The system suddenly paused. Finn's brows furrowed. "Continue." He mumbled under his breath. He was getting all the information about the target, and even though he was finding it hard to comprehend what the meaning of the target being a consortium heir was, he still quietly listened. He needed to know everything about the second target so he could advance in his mission... but the system suddenly stopped talking?[Franklin loves to play. He's a Playboy]The system briefly said. Finn's eyes widened. Excitement appeared in the depths of his eyes as he silently bit his lower lip. Play... boy... playing... games? The second target loved to play? He mu
"Finn!" Finn was walking down the school's corridor with his head bowed and brows slightly creased when he heard his name being called. Before turning around to see who it was, he glanced at his phone's screen again and realized there still hadn't been a reply from Niam. His heart felt a little uncomfortable. Niam had become too busy these days and hardly replied to his messages. It made him wonder if every political student was so busy in their first years. "Where are you going?" The person's voice entered his ears again. Unable to ignore the voice anymore, Finn turned around to see Edwin and Amelia running toward him. These were the friends he made after he entered university two months ago. Though he wondered why they became so close to him anyway. He had never once looked for friends. Yet, he decided to wait for them. Amelia panted as he grabbed Finn's shoulder, trying her best to steady her breathing. "Where are you going?" She asked again, wiping the sweat from her fo
Niam's expression changed several times in a span of a few seconds, but Finn remained in bed, staring at him with eager eyes. Niam's brows creased. Without a word, he turned around and opened the bag in his hand. He brought out a pair of pajamas and boxers, which he threw on the bed. "Put them on and come downstairs for dinner." He said frigidly. Finn frowned. "Won't we do it?" He asked with confusion in his tone. Niam's lips twitched. "You don't know what you are talking about, Finn." He picked up the clothes and pushed them into Finn's arms. "Change. We will do whatever you want in the future." He assured, gently patting Finn's black hair. Finn blinked rapidly. "Real... really?" "Hm." A small smile slowly graced his face as he stood up from the bed, and under Niam's calm gaze, he entered the bathroom. Staring at the closed door, Niam finally let out the breath he'd been holding for the past few minutes. He lowered his head to his bulge, and a sigh escaped his lips. "How c
Finn woke up with fear in his heart. He had a terrible dream. Ever since opening his eyes in this world, it was his first time having a dream, but it really wasn't a pleasant one. In his dream, Niam held hands with George and turned his back on him. "Don't go." Finn had begged, but all he received was the mocking eyes of George and Niam's indifference. He cried and ran, trying to reach them, but it was impossible. He watched as Niam walked away from his life, holding hands with another and never looking at him again. Finn couldn't bear it. He felt his heart tearing into pieces, and his entire body felt like it was being smashed with a heavy hammer. He hated the feeling. He was really scared. When he opened his eyes and saw Niam sitting worriedly beside his bed, Finn's raging heart nearly stopped. He felt the urge to cry. Niam hadn't left him. Niam had stayed with him, and he was staring at him at the moment. But... would Niam stay with him forever? Finn never wanted to lo
