Finn cried and fell asleep under the tree.

His fragile body trembled slightly from the breeze, but it didn't wake him up.

His breath was a little shaky.

He felt a presence around him, but he felt too sleepy to care.

He was in school anyway, and no one could hurt him here.

He also didn't want to open his eyes. He was too exhausted.

His neck also hurt.

A pair of strong arms wrapped around him and lifted him from the ground.

Finn stirred weakly, his cheek brushing against a warm chest.

He painfully opened his eyes, and his blurry gaze settled on a familiar face... Niam's.

He tried to push him away, but his weak arms only rested on Niam's chest before he fell back to a deeper sleep.

Finn felt too exhausted.

[DING! FIRST TARGET'S FAVORABILITY +20]

[FAVORABILITY: 40]

[CONGRATULATIONS, HOST]

Robotic voice sounded in Finn's ears, but he only hummed in response.

Everything soon became peaceful.

Hours later.

Finn rolled around as a low grunt escaped his throat.

The thing beneath him was really soft and comfortable.

Also, the scent from it was really familiar, and it made him feel at peace.

Finn's eyelashes trembled.

The word familiar rang repeatedly in his head until a figure formed in his mind___ Niam.

His eyes snapped open. He looked around the room only to realize he was in an unfamiliar place.

Finn panicked.

Had he really been kidnapped?

"No, Host. This is the first target's home."

He heard the system's calm voice.

Finn's heart trembled.

Niam took him home.

But why?

Didn't he bully him like he wanted to kill him earlier? Why would he bring him home now?

While Finn was deep in thought, the door opened, revealing Niam with a set of clothes in hand.

His eyes widened slightly when he saw Finn, but it was soon clouded by a guilty feeling.

He approached and sat at the edge of the bed, looking at Finn, who was also staring at him.

Their eyes met, and air stilled between them.

None of them turned their eyes away.

It was like time had stopped.

Finn's heart raced, eliciting a slight fear in him as he clutched his chest.

His eyes shifted nervously, and he shifted his butt, trying to create a distance between himself and Niam.

Finn felt like the earlier choke had tampered with his heart.

Even his heart was starting to have a problem.

Niam was truly a bad person.

Finn didn't like him.

Niam dropped the clothes in his hand, and a rough sigh escaped his throat.

"I'm sorry, Finn." He said in a small voice, his hand rubbing the back of his neck.

Finn glanced at him as a small light appeared in his eyes. "You're saying sorry?" He asked slowly.

Niam nodded.

The earlier coldness was nowhere to be found, and it had been replaced by the innocence of a youth.

At this moment, Finn really felt that Niam wasn't older than he was.

He was the same age as him, and their mentality wasn't so different.

Niam wasn't cold. He wasn't scary either.

But Finn still didn't like him. Niam hurt him.

Niam's eyes were filled with guilt as he lowered his eyes, and his hand remained at the back of his neck, rubbing nervously.

"I shouldn't have treated you that way."

"I shouldn't have hurt you." He kept mumbling.

Finn's lips pursed.

He touched his neck, and tears welled up in his eyes again. "But my neck hurts." He said pitifully.

Niam's eyes flickered as he stood up quickly.

He rubbed his hands on his trousers, and his eyes darted around the room as if searching for something.

"I will apply first aid right away." He said.

Finn tilted his head and nodded.

He thought first aid should help cure the pain.

Niam's eyes finally regained a little clarity, and he crouched down to open the drawer beside the bed.

He brought out a first aid kit and sat back in bed.

Finn shifted closer to him and raised his head to give Niam access.

However, he noticed Niam's eyes darkening.

Finn was taken aback.

It was the same expression Niam had when he bullied him inside the music room...

Could it be that the target wanted to bully him again now?

But his neck still hurts...

"You can bully me later when I'm healed." Finn found himself saying in a small voice.

He also wanted to be bullied that way, but now wasn't the right time.

He didn't want a scar around his neck.

Niam's expression turned awkward.

His fingers trembled as he slowly applied ointment around Finn's neck, and by the time he was done, his forehead was already covered in sweat.

Finn blinked.

The target looked like he wasn't feeling too well...

Finn felt like he might have made things too difficult for the target.

"Host, I can help cure the pain right away."

The system suddenly said.

Finn's eyes lit up. 'Really?'

"Yes. I only discovered the features now. I can help cure any injuries to the host, as long as the injuries are not too deep."

A smile spread across Finn's lips.

'Go ahead. I want to be bullied by the target again.'

"Got it!"

Finn blinked blankly as he stared at the screen. He tried to suppress the happiness in his heart as he read the message. It was a message asking him to meet the senior at a gay bar downtown. It was about an hour away from the school. Finn didn't hesitate. Knowing that the senior wanted to see him again, the happiness filled him up, making him hop as he waited for the cab he called. "I'm on my way." He replied as he entered the designated cab. *******Finn got to the bar. The noise and the showy colors dazzled him for a moment before his eyes refocused, settling on the people in the room. There were many. All men. Some were tall and burly while some looked petite and beautiful. Finn looked at this number of people with furrowed brows. He stood at the door, unsure what to do next. His eyes searched the room, but there was no sight of Franklin at all. The thought made Finn uneasy. He was about to leave when he suddenly felt his wrist being grabbed. Someone pulled him forwar

  • BOUND TO EIGHT: Love or Die   CHAPTER 24: Missing Franklin

[DING! Affection +5]Finn was slightly taken aback. Even when the senior was playing with him earlier, he hadn't received any notification from the system, which got him worried, but when he wasn't doing anything, he suddenly received it?Did that mean that the senior didn't like playing with him? For some inexplicable reason, Finn felt displeased with the thought and the displeasure shown on his beautiful face. He no longer insisted on his words and instead took a few steps back as if to avoid the second target who didn't like playing with him. Finn's lips pursed. "I'll go then." He said and turned around to leave. He didn't want to stay any longer. The senior didn't like him and... he had to think of ways to make the senior do so. Finn walked toward the door, ready to leave. He had just opened the door when he heard the senior call his name. Turning around, he saw the senior whose expression had returned to normal. "Let's exchange contact." He said. Finn raised a brow. He h

  • BOUND TO EIGHT: Love or Die   CHAPTER 23: LOVERS?

CHAPTER 23Finn hugged his knees on the couch. He had been cleaned by the second target and had even been dressed up, but he was too tired to do anything else. His butt wasn't aching like it did when he first did it with Niam, but his waist hurt a bit. The second target had done him for hours, and he was truly exhausted. Finn glanced at the second target, who was busy working in the room, arranging the things that had been scattered and cleaning all traces in the room. Finn was thinking hard. The second target hadn't said a word to him ever since they were done. Could it be that he hadn't played enough? Or was he annoyed?'System, did the favorability increase?'He already played with the second target, right?[Yes. 5%]'5%?' He could remember that Niam's favorability points were about twenty percent when they met back then. Why were the second targets so low?[You are like a stranger to him right now] The system explained. Stranger?Finn didn't understand. His body ached, an

Finn didn't understand why Franklin touched his lips, but seeing the smile on Franklin's face, he felt like the situation wasn't as bad as it used to be and the senior seemed to have fully forgiven him. So, he relaxed. "Play? Do you want to play?" He asked softly, looking into those strange eyes. Finn couldn't understand what Franklin was thinking. The target's eyes looked exactly like Niam's eyes whenever they were being intimate at home, but it seemed even stronger and... scary? Finn shook his head. The target wasn't scary. The target had forgiven him. Franklin's thumb brushed his lips, and their faces were only inches away from each other. Finn kept quiet. He wanted to see how the second target wanted to play. But his thoughts froze when the target's lips pressed on his.Finn's eyes widened. He instinctively wanted to struggle, but Franklin bit his lower lip harshly. Wincing, his lips parted, and Franklin pushed his tongue in, deepening the kiss. The kiss was rough and a

  • BOUND TO EIGHT: Love or Die   CHAPTER 21: FRANKLIN

Finn's eyes widened the moment the word left his mouth. He quickly covered his mouth and blinked rapidly. His heart raced even faster. He had slipped up. Would the second target hate him even more now?The system's interface showed before him, and the screen flickered, showing numerous watermarks as if it were about to explode from malfunctioning. Finn felt even more guilty. Franklin's expression also changed. He looked at Finn with furrowed brows, and the pen he held between his fingers dropped with a light thud on the table. He rubbed his brows and sighed roughly. "Second target?" His voice was low and deadly. "Come over here." He ordered. Finn's knees buckled. He shook his head, trying to stay in a place without moving, but his body seemed to be under an unknown spell. He stepped forward before he stopped himself. Standing right in front of Franklin's paper-filled desk, Finn bit his lower li

  • BOUND TO EIGHT: Love or Die   CHAPTER 20: TO APOLOGIZE

The night was extremely awful for Finn. He couldn't stop his tears no matter what, and nothing Niam said worked for him. He was sad. He didn't mean to tarnish the second target's image that way. He didn't mean to annoy the second target either. But he couldn't help it. He was born with a learning disability... or maybe it was the loss of memory, which made him that way. There was nothing he could do...His heart was pained. The next morning, his eyes were swollen and red as he prepared for school. Standing before the mirror, he stared at his puffy face for a while, and a sigh escaped his lips. "Baby, why don't you skip today's class? You don't look too well." Niam wrapped his arms around Finn's waist. His voice sounded worried. Finn stared at the handsome face resting on his shoulder and shook his head. "No, I need to apologize to him." He replied softly. Niam's expression changed slightly. "Is that necessary?" His voice was a little hoarse. But Finn didn't seem to notice any c
