The room doors slammed open and a little cute boy in a green t-shirt and loose black pants walked in, seeing as a young woman was in his father's arms. But the fact that he wasn't surprised meant that he wasn't new to seeing Eric with women on a bed. He thought of her as one of his father's ‘women’. He was slightly chubby and adorable, and had eyes like Eric's. There was zero doubts he was Eric's seed, but who's his mother?

“Boss” Eric smiled as Wade strolled to him. He stood and moved to the chair that was next to the bed and carried his son on his lap. He sat, eyes on Diana. “Boss?” Eric called again

“Ты исчез, папа (You disappeared, daddy)” the boy spoke in Russian, a language he grew up with, using it frequently with his father along with English. Wade, as a baby lived with his grandaunt in Russia, but after her demise the past year, he moved back with his dad.

Diana, on the other hand, just sat there in silence. She did admire the boy's face. He was a little Mr. Handsome, just

---“Be quiet,” my aunt mumbled. “You will be quiet, young woman. Look at you saying things like that to me... You're on the news, on magazines as the woman always assaulted and always bearing bruises. That your mother did—that! Your father never laid his hands on her. The disgrace you bring, the shame, desperation to have a man? It makes me want to vomit... on your face. You're just that one taint in our family name that we can't get away from. No wonder your brother is always running from you. You're just insufferable. And after everything you coin it as your fault. Despicable!”I cried, my hands over my face, “You would be the worst mother to any child...” I hiccuped, “You're so vile, toxic and unnecessarily difficult”“Why do you think I don't have a kid?” she retorted with a sudden quiet laugh... “Sometimes you're just laughable”***These memories were always flashing in my eyes every time Tommy started to hit me. Mom and Dad barely fought, yet here I was getting beaten by a man

Louisa's POV“Isa!~ Isa!~”My husband, Thomas, called in a happy tone that afternoon. I was in the living room with the TV on, just finding out he didn't pay the subscription for the month—which I gave him money for last week prior to its expiration today.Thomas, my dearest husband, is a kind, lovely, handsome, hardworking man. He's just unfortunate not to have a job, so it's not like he can't provide for his cherished family.I had the thought that he went to gamble again with the money I gave him, hence he didn't pay the subscription... Just like an incompetent and stupid wife would. It was only reasonable that I asked him before having useless thoughts. You see, my husband loves me more than Romeo loved Juliet, and he's always thinking of making me happy. Always putting me in check to ensure our family stays whole, unlike some others’. For this reason, I respect him, love him, and always praise him. Even though his hard work in the family might be insignificant to you because he h

Rafael’s POV:I walked into her fortress. This was the McCoy's territory.Reminiscences from childhood flickered—antique masterpieces adorning the central table in the opulent living room, relics of a bygone era.“Please wait here, sir,” the young attendant murmured before vanishing up the grand staircase.I remained stationary, anticipating the owner's descent. Eli and Oscar had accompanied me. Oscar’s convalescence from the gunshot wound had been protracted—a gunshot wound I gave her while crashing out days ago because of the shipwreck. She returned this morning to resume her work, just minutes before we journeyed here.I pivoted to her. Eyes sore as always, face unamused and at times irksome. She wasn't the kind that smiled. I wasn't the kind that smiled either. She is as little as a grenade that can cause a huge explosion—one reason I harbored such a weapon that I once discharged a bullet into her.“Took you so many days to recover or were you just avoiding work?” I asked, hand

“Finally decided to answer?” Rafael mumbled, calmly hiding the sting he felt about Diana ignoring him.“I'm not known for answering the devil's calls”“Yet you're married to him.”“Describe one”Rafael scoffed, “Well, he obviously doesn't wear goodness. How would you describe one?”“I'm hearing his voice right now”Rafael sitting at the back of his car as it was headed for the airport, while Meenah was sitting besides him on her phone. Both seating at each end, maintaining a luxurious distance between them, “How dare you ignore me?” He added and Meenah's eyes fell on and off of him. His gaze outside the car's tinted black glass window. Watching as other cars went behind on high speed. “Do you think I'm into little games?”“It was a wrong number” Diana added with a sly smile, as she waved off Ursula on her attempt to use a high frequency wand on her hair.Rafael adjusted his tie and cleared his throat, “You should have answered mine or called back to tell me that...” Meenah glanced at

Rafael’s POV:Young minds and a heart like ancient wood. Meenah is obsessed with the idea of Diana McCoy, it worries me. On no account will I allow that meeting happen.I staggered down the hallways to my room, lost in thought. Marie was on the bed. I entered, shut the door, walked to my side, and sat. I was still wondering about the possibility of Diana meeting my muse. What the outcome would truly be...I felt hands creep under my black t-shirt to my chest. A jaw rested on my shoulder. I acted like I felt nothing. Her lips kissed my cheek.“Cinta~” she spoke. It made me jump. I've had women whisper in my ear with seductive voices. Why does Marie's have be awful? Why is everything with Marie so displeasing? Why does it all have to feel so... dry?I tried to pull away, but she held tight. “Fuck,” I cussed. She ki

---“No, you didn't,” Marcus announced, like that was the truth. Everyone paid close attention when he stood up, pretending to be calm. “Rafael, you never hurt him. You never shot him, we all loved Wire so much hence you couldn't have. Eric killed our son, Eric did it—although it's your fault.”“No,” Rafael replied, shaking his head, eyes wide, the disbelief in his eye clear as day... “No. It's not my fault... I-i-it's not my fault. No.” He hit his head again.“It was your fault,” Marcus concluded and walked away. His only goal was to put the blame on Eric alone, while letting Rafael know deep down it was really him—like the ghost behind his eyes ever since that day.---My vision went blurry...My hearing slowly faded...Maids rushed to me.My brain went blank and I passed out.The strong urge to follow him.The urge to die along with him.I was struggling to die. I wanted to end it all. I didn't want to live in this cruel world without Wire as my shield. I only wanted Wire—only him.
