|| ALEKSA'S POV ||

" Congratulations, Luna! You could have avoided all this fuss if you had mentioned your pregnancy!"

Lucas congratulated me with excitement after escorting me to my chamber. The chaos had died down after I revealed my pregnancy. There was no bigger claim on the throne than the woman who carries the Alpha's child.

I forced a smile on my face, secretly clutching my cloth in nervousness,

" Thanks...Lu..I was... waiting for the right moment.."

The whole pack was celebrating my pregnancy. As soon as the door closed, Leona rushed to me furiously,

" LUNA! Have you gone insane? You may lie to the whole pack, but I fucking know that the Alpha hasn't slept with you for 2 years. How can you get pregnant?"

Leona was more than a servant to me. I found her begging on the street and later offered her a position in my household. She was the only female in the pack who was loyal to me. I plopped down on the bed with a sigh, my heart speeding up in tension,

" I.. just...I didn't know what to do..It was the only way to stop them.."

She slapped a hand over her head, paced around the room before reminding me how I fucked up badly,

" Seven hells! You really know that you need a baby in your stomach to convince them? Well, you may fuck anyone and get a child in your womb, but anyone from the bloodline of Alpha's family can smell whether the pup belongs to their family or not. How will you manage that?"

I kept sitting frozen in shock. If they figured out that I had been lying all this time, I would be kicked out of this pack no matter what I say. Leona finally stopped venting and came over to hug me. She comforted me in a low voice,

" I am sorry..I know you have been going through a lot. Let me find someone. You need to get pregnant as soon as possible. The rest can be dealt with later since there's no one left close to the Alpha here."

I nodded my head as soft tears began to run down my cheeks,

" I really... didn't think much...I had to stop them..They aren't just my pack but my family. How can I give up so easily?"

Leona wiped my tears and promised me after getting up,

" They are all jerks. Anyways, I gotta find you a hot one soon. I am pretty sure that no one can resist my Luna."

She winked at me before heading to execute her plan. I really needed to follow through with her plan; otherwise, my pack would be finished.

By midnight, Leona rushed to my room excitedly. She closed the door carefully, ran over to sit on my bed before speaking in an extremely low voice,

" Goddess is on your side, Luna! I have managed to get my hands on an Alpha's son. Don't worry! I have explained everything to him. He will be waiting for you in the North Woods. You just need to... go over to him NOW!"

My mouth hung open in shock. I didn't know until today that Leona was so efficient in her task. I hesitated for a moment, bringing out the cloak that would cover my entire existence,

" But... what if someone comes to look for me?"

Leona shrugged it off casually, climbing onto the bed to take my place,

" No one will know that you are gone. Besides, you deserve to be wild for a day. You shouldn't have to moan alone."

I blushed at her comment in embarrassment. Indeed, my wolf had been fighting too hard to resist the desire. I sighed in relief before heading to the room, heading for the North Woods. Thankfully, no one was around at this hour. I managed to pass through the pack house without being spotted by anyone.

When I entered the North Woods, the full Moon was up in the sky. My wolf pushed me forward to find the guy that Leona had just bribed for me. I felt no shame since Kairos never acknowledged my needs. The longer I walked forward, the more I smelt the presence of a wolf, much stronger than any wolf that I had ever seen.

Leona really did her work well!

I walked step by step carefully, only to be halted in shock. A running figure emerged from the opposite end with a wail,

" Fuck it..."

I gasped in shock before stumbling backward. That guy just dropped to the ground with a painful growl. I rushed to him without a second thought, my wolf peeking at the smell of wolfsbane in his body,

" Hey...Hey... what happened to you? Have... you seen...by anyone... else...here?"

His head was drooping again and again in weakness. I guessed that he couldn't hold on any longer. I reached for his head carefully to place it on my lap. The moment our skin connected, I felt a jolt crippling through my skin.

Why the fuck is my wolf just stirring?

It would be a lie if I admitted that I wasn't awestruck by his appearance. Deep green eyes, razor-sharp cheekbones, a face that could give battle to any Greek God. The aura from his wolf was a match for anyone around. From time to time, my wolf felt the urge to bow down to him.

Who was he actually?

Not long afterwards, I heard multiple voices coming from the distance, their faint voices sounding clear to my wolf's ears.

" That way! He couldn't be gone! The prince will kill us if we miss this time!"

" He is hurt! He might be hiding somewhere!"

I felt clueless about the situation until the man clasped my hands and pleaded in a groaning voice,

" Help... me...He..lp..me...Save...me...."

Was he being hunted by anyone around?

I couldn't think much longer as the footsteps were getting closer and closer. No matter who he was, I needed a child at any cost. Biting my lips, I only had one way to save his life. I cursed under my breath before stripping off,

" Fuck it! You will see it eventually! Doesn't matter!"

I began to take off my clothes in front of him one by one. His gaze suddenly darkened at me as if he could read through my mind. Climbing on top of him, I muttered into his ear before beginning to rotate my hips,

" Play with me!"

He held onto my naked hips sharply as I began to bounce my hips, pretending to ride his dick,

" Ahh..deeper.. deeper.. fuck...You are so deep..."

His sultry voice accompanied me, almost forcing me to forget that we were acting,

"Yes... baby... ride it...You feel so damn good..."

I hated to admit that even through our clothes, I could feel my wetness sliding through my legs. I wrapped my hands around his head, hiding his face from anyone's view before moaning harder.

Those people finally spotted us from a distance. The moment they saw us, one of them cursed loudly,

" Hey fuckers! Get a room! Goddess! These wild unmated brats.."

They walked away without turning back anymore. As soon as their footsteps faded, I quickly jumped off his lap, slipping into my long shirt to hide my body. I began to speak anxiously, afraid of getting caught,

" Now... get up and do your job! Damn! If you really fucked up somewhere else, why did you agree to come tonight? You know...I badly need this baby!"

He lifted from the ground slowly. Without turning my head, I could feel his scorching eyes running all over my body. His next words shook the ground underneath me,

" What... what baby???? What are you talking about?"
