Chapter 13

No way. This isn't happening. My babysitter is none other than my husband, who I don't even clearly know well.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, unblinking at for the last minutes as mom went to grab some snacks.

"I should be the one asking that." He scoffed, flashing a smile to my mother across the room.

Ugh! That billionaire smile that I have a crush on. Just on that! There's nothing more. I just got a thing for a dimpled smile.

"This can't be just a pure coincidence, could it be?" I asked, muttering to myself.

He heard it well, frowning. "It could be. But I don't believe in fates and all." 

I gasped when he mentioned such a universal thingy. "How can you not believe in fates!? Wait, what about soulmates? Do you believe in them?" 

He shook his head, "That's all nonsense." 

"That's why you're single." I scoffed but did I forget such a detailed mess I had brought into my life?

He laughed, "You're forgett
