Chapter 27

Like a museum piece, I roamed around the public market as a way to get to the destination of the thing in my hand to its rightfully home.

"Millie, you're embarrassing me," Noah grunted, trying his best to act like he doesn't know me.

But that won't work as I stuck by his side and showed the plate like a homeless person asking for a penny to spare. I'm many things right now but none of that matters until I get what am looking for.

"I need to find the exact kind, style, pattern, the texture of this plate. There should not be any difference!" 

Noah twisted his neck, looking at the pillow's rack as judgemental eyes passed by us. He was very embarrassed to the point he was ready to put me up for adoption. 

"We just need to buy a few plates and get out of here and set back the plates before my mother finds out." I scanned for a board painted with the broad letters of labeling the area of the plates.

"Then hurry up."
