Chapter 7

Funny how things turn out whenever Las Vegas is added in the lives of an individual because it has gotten many untold stories and risks borne from it.

Just like that, I had a story to tell as well but oh, boy! I first need to sober up.

I laid flat on my back, staring at the mahogany ceiling which was halfway distracting my thoughts but nevertheless, I replayed the encounter with Noah Hudson. The guy seemed like a gentleman and probably older than me.

Now, he got the good looks but I didn't have any fluttery feeling rising in the pits of my diaphragm. The feeling of flushed up by the butterflies.

Or it's more like getting murdered by the butterflies? 

I blinked, frowning, baffled by my strange weird yet creepy thoughts emerging especially after midnight. I couldn't quite sleep since my mind has been occupied over certain someone.

"Hailey? Hailey?" I called out to her in a soft whisper.

She hummed, shifting her slumpy body and drap
