I wake up earlier than a sane person would on their vacation and decide to go for a run on the beach. I don’t wander too far because I feel like Cade would worry if I wasn’t back when he woke up, even though I left him a note. When I get back to the room and find him still asleep, I crumple the note and get into the shower. He joins me halfway through.
“You went for a run,” he states.
“Yeah, I did.”
“What, my workout yesterday morning wasn’t good enough?” He says, wrapping his arms around my waist.

Naturally, they all come with the promise of free liquor and at the party, Monroe plays a little slide show of her and Maddy breaking down the entire incident, including the photo evidence and it finishes with Monroe saying, “If you’re like us and are sick of Mackenzie’s shit,” and then Monroe and Maddy together say, “Vote for Maddy!” Everyone cheers and Mackenzie storms off and out of the party.The party is a massive success and we’re pretty sure Maddy is going to win.When Monday comes around, once again neither of us wants to go to school. *Monroe's POV*Walking to my bike, I wiggle my hands into the leather gloves and buckle on my helmet. Swinging my leg over the bike, a smile plays at the corners of my mouth. God I love this bike. I walk it out of the garage, closing the door behind me. Once I’m out of the driveway and onto the winding paved road that leads towards the city center, I speed up and revel in the adrenaline rush as I take the bends and curves of the roads faster than I probably should.
