Liam's POV

The private lounge of my penthouse office was exactly what it was supposed to be: dark leather, low lights, the kind of place you could talk deals and still feel like you owned the room.

I was on a call about a merger with a client in Dubai, while leaning against the desk.

“Yes, Mr. Al-Rashid,” I said, keeping my voice steady. “Those terms are non-negotiable. Ten percent stake, or we walk.”

Evelyn was in front of me, the red dress she had worn was already on the floor. And her panties were long gone. Now she was totally naked. She moved close, smiling as her hands reached for my belt. Before I could blink twice, the belt came free with that soft click.

I shot her a warning look but she ignored me. She was clearly enjoying the reaction she was getting. Her tongue traced from my stomach up to my chest as her hand slid into my briefs. And she looked at me like she had found something worth stealing.

"Fvck," I muttered. One hand was tightening on the phone.

I woke to the sound of snow tapping against the window, the world outside blurred in white. My body ached as I pushed myself upright, a sharp pain cut between my legs. My hand instinctively pressed there, and the memory of labor slammed into me all at once.It should have been worth it. I should have been holding my babies. But they weren’t here. The emptiness hollowed me out all over again.“Liv, hey, gorgeous!” Avery’s voice burst through the fog in my head, as bright and warm as ever. She rushed over, kissed my cheek, and grinned. “You’re awake!”I managed a weak smile. “Yeah. I’m up.”The door opened and a doctor walked in with a small team of nurses. He looked kind.“Hello, Ms Brown. I’m Dr. Patel,” he said, offering a hand. “This is Nurse Emily, Nurse Sarah, and Nurse Mia. We’re here to check on you.”"Hi," I said with a weak voice. They helped me sit as Avery brushed the hair back from my damp face.“How are you feeling, Ms. Brown?” Dr. Patel asked, pressing the cold stethoscop

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   Meet Me at Our Usual Spot

Evelyn’s POV“Ms. Vaughn? We’re here.”Ben’s voice jolted me from my spinning thoughts.I blinked and realized we had already pulled into the Vaughn estate. I hadn’t even noticed the drive, my head was still a storm of panic and rage.“Right,” I muttered, shoving the car door open.I stormed through the front doors without acknowledging the housekeepers who bowed their heads to greet me. My phone slipped from my hand and cracked against the marble. My purse followed; I flung it violently aside, toppling a vase that shattered across the floor. I didn’t care. My rage carried me up the staircase, my heels nearly slipped on the steps as I rushed up.“Evelyn!” my mom's sharp voice called across the hallway. She and my dad rushed toward me, both were in silk nightwear. Their faces were pale with worry.“What on earth is going on?” my mom added.I collapsed into their arms, sobbing, shaking so hard I could barely speak.“Mom, Dad,” I cried, burying my face in my mom's shoulder. “It’s Liam. T

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   He Locked Me Out

Evelyn’s POVI pounded the study door until my fists burned. The oak felt solid under my palms, but it didn’t budge. No click, no footstep, no apology.“Liam!” I shouted, my voice was raw from the effort. I glared up at the tiny security camera above the frame as if it could pass my message through the glass. “Open this fvcking door! You can hear me, you bastard! I know you can see me!”Silence answered me back, it was flat and infuriating. My knuckles stung. My heels wobbled on the marble. Humiliation; an old emotion I didn’t know well, rose like bile. I was Evelyn Vaughn: public, polished, used to owning rooms and people. I had never felt this small."You can't do this to me! I'm your fiancée! How dare you treat me like that slut Olivia! What the fvck is wrong with you? You don't even touch me anymore, you're pushing me away, and now you lock me out? You're such a bastard, Liam!"I slammed my hands harder against the door until I couldn't stand it. But still nothing.“It’s her,” I s

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   Be Ready to Pay Compensation

Liam’s POV“Liam!”I turned toward the voice, my jaw tightened.“Perfect,” I muttered under my breath. “Just what I needed.”Evelyn stormed into the dining hall, her black dress clung like a second skin. The slit was high at the thigh and the neckline was cut low. Her blonde hair was a mess, mascara smudged at the edges. Her eyes were sharp like she was ready to kill.I frowned and calmly cut into my lamb, pretending she wasn’t there. She stopped at my side, her voice was sharp enough to slice glass. “Why the hell did you do that? You pushed up the movie and the show! I told them I wasn’t ready!”I kept eating. She slammed her palm on the table, rattling glasses. “Am I talking to a fvcking wall? Why are you ignoring me?”My family exchanged uneasy glances.“Evelyn, sweetheart, what’s wrong?” my mom asked gently. Her tone was worried.“I got a call from the producer and director,” Evelyn spat, her fists clenched. “Liam told them to move Starlight and Echoes forward. He and the investor

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   Bring Olivia Back to Nurse Them?

Liam’s POVThe Rolls-Royce pulled up to the Smith estate, its massive stone front glowed against the snow. Staff lined the entrance as usual, their postures were stiff, and their eyes averted as I stepped out.Moore approached immediately, and took my coat and briefcase. “Good evening, sir,” he said carefully.“Where is everyone?” I asked. My mind was still at the hospital. At Olivia’s pale face, the way her voice broke when she begged me about the twins.“They’re waiting in the dining hall,” Moore replied. “Dinner has already been served.”I turned to Vincent, who lingered by the car. “That’s all for tonight. Have everything ready for the hospital transfer. Be here before eight.”“Yes, sir,” he said with a bow of his head. “Good night, Mr. Smith.”“Good night.” I watched him drive away before heading inside. The marble foyer buzzed with quiet activity. Housekeepers moved quickly, dusting what didn’t need dusting, polishing what was already spotless. Their eyes kept darting toward me,

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   I Would Do Anything

Liam stepped closer, his shadow stretched across the bed.“I said you’re transferring tomorrow. That’s final. You need to recover fast so you can take care of my kids. That means you eat what I give you and stay where I put you. Otherwise, forget about seeing the twins.”Shock locked my throat, but my body betrayed me. My eyelids grew heavy, exhaustion was dragging me under faster. I wanted to fight him, but all I could do was slip deeper into the fog.A knock broke the silence.Vincent’s voice came muffled through the door. “Sir, Dr. Rodway and a young woman are outside asking to see Ms. Brown.”“Send them away,” Liam ordered instantly.“No,” I forced the words past my dry lips. “Please, Liam. Let Avery in. I want my best friend.”He sighed, irritation flashed across his face. “Vincent. Let the girl in. Send Nathan away.”“Yes, sir.” Vincent’s footsteps faded. The room blurred at the edges again, but then Liam’s phone rang, it was sharp. He answered on speaker while calmly pouring ho
