Alright, it worked as she imagined. She looked like her mother getting everyone ready for her usual morning briefings.

The girl wanted to say something else, but Mara shut her off, saying they were waiting for others.

At that sound, she relaxed, knowing she would not be standing alone for too long. Her next victim was Silas. He seemed to be returning from patrol, as his hair was covered in snow as he came in.

He provoked her unknowingly as he was dusting his hair and feet inside the house. The man had no regard at all.

He could have done that outside before coming inside but not to worry; in a bit, all would end. He was about to pass when he noticed the tension in the air. He greeted them carefully and asked if anything was the problem. He was looking at Maria.

"Don't ask me, I don't know." the girl said to him

"Um, Mara..." he began

"Join her," Mara said simply

"Wait, what?" Silas asked, getting confused at her guts probably
