I woke up to a slightly disfigured room. Opening my eyes, I yawned loudly. It was then a throbbing headache welcomed me, making me almost yelp. My eyes darted to the bed, only to see it scattered and disarranged.

The entire sheets were tangled and twisted. And for a reason, the pillows were not a pair this morning. One laid low on the floor, making me wonder how it got there. I was never much of a deep sleeper.

I wriggled my brows when I saw my panties, twisted to a side of my ankle. This made me wonder what exactly had happened the night before.

My head tried to remember, but the only thing that was coming in was the dream I had. It had been all about Asher you know. In the dream, he did lots of dirty things to me. We made out many times to the extent that a part of me had thought that it was real.

As I moved to get up, my eyes landed on the clock beside the bed.

“Shit no!” I exclaimed, with my eyes bolted at the fact that I might as well be in detention today, for being so late.

I immediately got rid of my clothes, throwing it on the floor in haste. I darted into the bathroom immediately. In a few minutes, I was out and wearing the first thing my hand could grab out of my wardrobe.

My head was so occupied to the extent that I had already worn the entire thing, before remembering I had to dress nicely to please the college’s bad boy, Asher.

How was I going to convince him to show up for the karaoke in this sickly pajama?

A picture of our intimacy replayed in my head. My core throbbed at the entire scene darting back in. This made me cringe my brows together.

If it was a dream, why did it feel so real?

As if in response to the question I just asked myself, I noticed a to-do-list note sticking out, somewhere on the cupboard. Wondering what was on it, I walked towards the piece of paper.

I cut it off, only to see some words engraved in a black pen. The writings were in italic, so were the letters. Beautifully carved, which made my mind far from the fact that it might actually turn out to be a nightmare. I braced myself, before reading the words.

“Last night was a mistake. Don’t even think we have a thing.” – Asher

Instant flashbacks immediately entered my head the moment I read the note. The picture of mum and dad got in my head. I could see them leaving with Mr. Gilbert, Asher’s dad, with their apologetic faces. The next thing that spiraled in was me challenging Asher and calling him out for hating females.

“You’ve been such a bad girl, Phoebe.” he had stated.

“Ash- “

“Just wait, I’m going to punish you accordingly.”

Guilt hit me that instant, as I remembered what preceded that moment.

Goosebumps rattled on my skin.

My heart beat thudded in fast paces.

Warm tears housed my eyes, going down my chin. I re-read and re-read the note, hoping to see a different thing but didn’t.

It took some minutes for me to recover. When I did recover, I took my bag, scrunched the note and tossed it inside my bag. I could only thank my stars when I got downstairs that mum and dad weren’t back yet.

Because the entire dining table was a mess. On the floor were broken bottles, some were empty. There were also tossed food and vegs on the floor. We both must have been so drunk to stupor last night from how unkempt and disheveled the whole place was. I rushed to the kitchen to bring a duffel bag.

Hastily, I packed it all inside, doing the necessary sweeping and vacuum cleaning. When I wiped the last single that piece of dirt away, I sprayed the room with a lavender scented essence.

I got rid of the duffel bag too.

I picked my bag the moment the place looked tidy. The next thing I did do was head for school.

“Ms. Davis, care to explain why you’re late today?” Mrs. Graham, our Musical teacher asked with a stern expression on her face. Her red hair was in a professional bun and her clothes were tight in all places. In spite of the fact that she looked in her forties, she had a seductive appearance which made most single male teachers want to hit on her.

“That’s…” I started out, rambling my head for what to say. But it was to no avail. The only thing I could replay was Asher’s hands roaming all over my body the night before. Then of how the hangover and cleaning got me late too.

How did one explain that kind of drama to a teacher?

“Have nothing to say?” she asked again, in a mocking tone. My hands entwined together, already sweaty from nervousness.

“I d-do… I-I mean…” I attempted to say.

“Detention!” she declared.

“But…” I tried to say but she cut me off with her hands signaled towards the way that led to the room.

“Off you go, Ms. Davis.” Mrs. Graham told me, shooing me away. With a clenched teeth and fist, I moved towards the detention room.

Holy mother of craps!

I had lost my virginity to the college’s bad boy, Asher Gilbert.

This took me a moment to realize during detention. And I hated it because I had to hold myself from crying again. The detention room had a lot of bad kids in it. In fact, this was the first time I had been given one.

I hated the detention room because it smelled of socks. Most of the kids in there were unhygienic and dirty. This was why I breathed with so much relief when I finally got out of there.

“Can’t believe that asshole got you in detention,” Cole muttered as we strolled the corridors of the school.

“Practically it was my fault? I mean, I was the one who overslept.” I replied.

“But he slept over. Waking you up was the gentlemanly thing he could have done before disappearing.” My best friend replied. My cheeks tinted as I grew silent at the lie, I had told Cole immediately. He didn’t notice as we sat down at the cafeteria. He began giving me the ideas for the karaoke we were both planning.

I didn’t say much and only answered him in mono-syllables like ‘yeah’ or ‘no’.

“Are you okay?” he asked, crunching a part of the ham burger he had been eating. I had barely touched mine because I didn’t have a big appetite this morning.

“I have something to say about last night.” I hurriedly said, trying to catch my breath. Cole was that one person that knew everything about me. I hid nothing from him and couldn’t bare to keep a secret.

“Shoot on,” he said.

“Last night, wasn’t just about Asher sleeping over after the commercial bus incidence as I told you.” I uttered to him.

“What do you mean?” he asked. Confusion was mixed in his big green eyes, which stared at me intently.

“We had been so drunk that we didn’t know when we got in bed, Cole.”

  • Badboy And Our Wrong Love   Episode 52 - Crazy Misunderstandings

Phoebe’s POV It was 10:46pm and Asher hadn't returned nor called me or even texted. Cole had texted that they had gotten to their hotel room about two hours ago and had asked if I wanted anything which I had declined. The more I waited the more I kept imagining what Asher was doing with that girl. Coraline or Cordelia whatever her name was. I was startled by the sound of opening and closing of our hotel door. It was Asher. He stood looking at me for some minutes. I kept silent. "What you did was immature Phoebe." he seethed. "That was a low blow." Who the fuck was he telling that? "Now you're talking to me about immaturity and low blows?" I asked him. "You weren't supposed to insult her like that and shit." I laughed unbelievably. "Whew!” I let out. “I can't believe you're saying this to me." I said. "There was absolutely nothing to get angry over." Asher went on and I just kept watching him like I was seeing him for the first time. "So I was gonna sit there and watch

Phoebe’s POV "Hangout for what exactly?" I asked him looking at him. "You know," Dave said, "Have drinks, play games, have lots of fun." He exaggerated the fun. At that, I could see that red light blare in my head. No one had to tell me that. "Define fun in your language." Roxanne said. "Like getting to know each other..." He trailed opening his arms. That infuriated me. "I'm fucking pregnant!" I said loudly. A few heads turned. "Uh-oh." Roxanne said. "Wasn't that hint enough?" I asked as he looked at me startled. "I have a boyfriend and so does she." I said to them. "Alright, alright." Dave said as they both retreated still facing us and raising their hands plicately. Good. Did I overreact? Then they turned and left. I looked at my friend and there was this… Roxanne burst into a serious feat of laughter and I'm forced to join her as I couldn't help myself. Yeah, that was it… "Did you see the look on their faces when you yelled?" she asked still cracking up. "I kno
