Chapter 24: Sinful dream

He didn't return to the room the entire night.

Gwendolyn took a long bath, washing the dirt and grime off her body after being unconscious for four days. The bath refreshed her and she changed into clean clothes.

True to his words, a maid brought her dinner minutes after she stepped out of the bathroom. She didn't realize how hungry she was until she took a bite.

She completely cleared the plate.

When the clock struck midnight and Kieran still didn't return, she grabbed a spare blanket and curled up on the floor beside the bed.

Even though she was tempted to sleep on the bed, she didn't. That would be breaking one of Kieran's stupid rules and she didn't want another episode with him.

As she wrapped the blanket around her, her anger burned. She, a lycan princess and alpha heir, had been reduced to sleeping on the floor like a worthless dog.
