“I think this conversation would be better had in person. I’m on my way,” Patrick promised.

It was only 11:30 in the morning, and Pierce was already on his third bourbon. Not only was he worried about Arianna’s physical safety, but he was also worried about her mental health. Arianna was extraordinarily level-headed and mature for 18, but she had been catapulted into adulthood long before necessary.

Pierce was also more than confident that his little firecracker would try to end their relationship in an attempt to keep him safe. Her attempt would be honorable, but it was too late. People like Harry don’t give a shit whether you’re together or not. As long as they knew you care for someone, they’d go after them.

Pierce didn’t know what to think when he received Arianna’s frantic call telling him to get away from the windows.

Pierce was smart enough to realize that Arianna was serious and stepped out of view of the window just as the first round of bullets went off. He immediately dropp

“I got two turkey and dressing meals with two sides of pumpkin pie. Is there anything else I can get y’all?” the cheerful waitress asked, setting down the plates in front of Arianna and Pierce.“I think that’s it, Barbara,” Pierce answered, getting the woman’s name off her nametag.“Just holler if ya need me, and Happy Thanksgiving.”Arianna nodded and dumped her mushy cranberry sauce on top of the dressing. The couple remained silent as they moved their food around on their plates. Arianna had lost her appetite, and the food in front of her didn’t appeal to her. Pierce’s jaw hurt from a punch he received from Harry, knocking one of his fillings out.“You should eat, Arianna.”“I woke up this morning knowing I would be feasting on a five-star gourmet Thanksgiving dinner,” Arianna complained.“Stop complaining and eat your food. Some people wished they were lucky enough to eat at Denny’s.”Arianna brought a scoop of dressing to her mouth and began crying. The shit was dry, and there wa

  • Barely Legal   Management Change

“It seems that we need to talk. Both of you, get the fuck back in the room...NOW!” Harry snapped.Arianna knew Harry wouldn't shoot her, but she quickly complied. Just because he wouldn't shoot her didn't mean he wouldn’t hesitate to put a bullet between Pierce’s eyes.Pierce tugged Arianna as close as possible once they found their seats on the plushy bed. Pierce’s mind momentarily took a break from his impending doom to appreciate how nice the mattress was. He would make it a point to ask the Vanderbilts where they purchased the mattress. It felt heavenly, and something told him that maybe Arianna wouldn’t snore so loudly if he had a bed like this. He wouldn’t mind dying on this mattress.“You know? You two actually make an attractive couple. Look at you, Pierce. Your tie matches her dress perfectly. I bet you’re matching right down to your panties,” Harry teased.Arianna’s eyes ticked away for a split second, telling Harry everything he needed to know.“You’re not wearing any panti

“Did they really need to send a Rolls-Royce Phantom limo to pick us up?” Pierce complained.“The Vanderbilts are extravagant. Wait until you see the house.”“How many times have you been over?”“A couple.”“Let me guess, you have a designated room there,” Pierce drawled.“It seems I have a designated room wherever I go,” Arianna replied with a smirk.“Come sit,” Pierce offered.“I’ll pass.”“Come on. The partition is up,” Pierce argued, trying to get Arianna to straddle him in the limo's backseat.“That’s gonna be a hard no for me.”“Why?”“Because you’re wearing black pants, and I don’t have any panties on, so if you want my cum to stain the front of your pants, then just say the word.”“I’m more than okay with that,” Pierce chuckled.Arianna scoffed, “Of course you are.”“Back to my question from earlier, will you accompany me to the Jameson’s anniversary party? Or do you still plan on going with Harry?” Pierce teased, making Arianna giggle.“I would love to, but I can’t.”“Why not?

  • Barely Legal   Thanksgiving with the Vanderbilts

“Are you nervous?” Arianna asked, securing the earring in her ear.“Nervous? Of what?” Pierce asked as he pored over his selection of luxury watches.“Of spending Thanksgiving with the Vanderbilts.”Pierce scoffed. He didn’t have anything to be nervous about.“No, I’m not nervous. The Vanderbilts are regular people just like you and I.”“Keep believing that if you want. It’s not too late to change your mind.”“I’m good, Arianna. Call me crazy, but I feel that you don’t want me there.”“What would make you say that?”“You keep trying to give me an out.”“That’s not it at all, and I’m sorry if I made you feel that way. It’s just-”“Sit down. Let’s talk about it,” Pierce said, leading Arianna to the bed. “Tell me what the issue is.”“It’s just...I know they’re not going to be fond of you,” Arianna lowly confessed, causing Pierce to raise an eyebrow.“What do you mean they won’t be fond of me?”“They ship Jessana pretty hard.”Pierce blankly stared at Arianna, desperately trying to piece

  • Barely Legal   The Sleepover II

“Um...my bad. That plot twist got me. Woman, you gotta warn somebody before you drop bombs like that,” Patrick chided.“He’s not my biological brother. I was adopted by the Stevens’ when I was 11, and that’s all I will say about that.”“Trust me. You don’t want to hear all the gory details,” Amber warned.“Amber, repeat some slick shit at my dinner table, and it’s just gonna be me and you,” Jynelle sinisterly warned.“Jynelle, you don’t want none. You gonna mess around and get your collarbone broke again.”“Do you need me to gas up the jet and fly Gavin out here so you can get some dick because you’re acting like a real bitch tonight!” Jynelle seethed.“As lovely as that sounds, that’s not practical. Gavin is on his first solo mission, and I haven’t heard anything back from him. I’m nervous and worried, and I just want him to be okay. May I be excused from the table?” Amber asked, almost in tears.“Yeah...go ahead. I’m sure he’s fine. He learned from the best," Jynelle soothingly said

  • Barely Legal   The Sleepover

“Pierce, you can stop asking me if I’m fine,” Arianna sighed once they sat at the Stevens' dining room table.“I just need to know. It’s not often someone orders the execution of their parents. We are supposed to be communicating better, and part of that is being open and honest about our feelings. I’m sorry if I don’t believe that you’re fine.”“Can we borrow your study?” Arianna asked Jynelle.“Don’t do it!” Dallas warned. “I barely escaped with my life the last time a woman asked me to “talk” in the study. Lift the rug, and you’ll see a bloodstain on the hardwood floor.”“Dallas, hush before you end up in the basement,” Jynelle sassed.Dallas closed his mouth, knowing he didn’t want to end up like Arianna’s parents. Arianna and Pierce shot Dallas a pitiful look, most likely feeling sorry for him, but Dallas didn’t mind. He loved it when his woman was bossy and in charge. It was a complete turn-on, and he would have her submit to him on her hands and knees after dinner.Jynelle knew
