Chapter 22

Natalia:

It was the first time I was attending such a party as a guest but Ma’am Roselyn assured me that I would do well. I watched her dance to the slow song and I saw the excitement and happiness on her face as she danced with Alpha Noah.

The first dance was over, I clapped and watched everyone join in on the dance floor.

The scent was there again, this time it was even closer, I took my eyes up and around to look for the scent and there he was.

He was walking towards me. Was he walking to me?

Was he coming here? I asked myself.

“Hey.” He stopped in front of me and smiled at me.

I wanted to return the smile but I didn’t know how to.

“May I have this dance?” He stretched his hand in front of me and I frantically nodded, taking his hand slowly.

He returned my gesture with a smile and softly took me to the dance floor.

He held me on my waist and at first it was weird but soon enough, I settled in.

“I’m Klein, you are?” He asked but I was lost looking at his pretty blue eyes.
