“Bree... honey, wake up. Your phone’s been ringing non-stop for the last 15 minutes. Plus, the movers will be here soon, so you need to get going, don’t you?”
I woke up in a panic, grabbing my phone. Kallie had called 10 times. Oh no—I was supposed to meet her at the amusement park! I jumped out of bed, brushed my hair and teeth, and grabbed the clothes I had laid out the night before on my dresser. Thank goodness I put my phone on the charger before falling asleep last night. I ran as fast as I could to the amusement park. As soon as I got there, I called Kallie. She said she was at the food court across the park and would come to the entrance to find me. While waiting, I noticed a group of guys staring at me. One of them was so handsome. My heart skipped a beat when our eyes met. He nodded and started walking toward me. Crap. I needed to hide. Walking away quickly, I texted Kallie to let her know what was happening. She told me to take the left path, turn on the second right, and wait by the purple ride. I waited for 15 minutes, but she still wasn’t there. Turning to look around, I suddenly felt strong arms wrap around me and full lips press against mine—forcefully. It was the handsome guy from earlier. “What the hell?” I thought, panicking as I kneed him in the ribs with all my strength. He let go immediately, doubling over in pain. The group of guys he had been with earlier erupted into laughter. I felt a rush of anger and turned to leave, only to find Kallie and her boyfriend, Jake, standing nearby, both in shock. “Bre, are you okay? Do you want Jake to go beat that guy up?” Kallie yelled. Jake started laughing and pointed at the guy I’d just kneed. I turned back to see him holding his side as he walked back to his friends. That jerk. He must have blocked it with his hand and was just playing it off like I’d actually hurt him. Annoyed, I silently walked over to Kallie. “Let’s just go have fun and forget about that guy,” I said. The rest of the day was amazing. I completely forgot about every worry I’d had. Kallie was right—this trip to the amusement park was exactly what I needed. And, as always, Jake and Kallie never made me feel like a third wheel. Tyler From a distance, Tyler watched the girl his friends had dared him to kiss. He couldn’t get her out of his mind since the moment they pointed her out. Usually, he would laugh off their ridiculous dares, but when he saw her, he couldn’t resist. She was beautiful. Her long hair, hourglass figure, and soft features made her look like an angel trying to blend in with humans. Watching her smile and laugh stirred something in him. The kiss had been impulsive, yet unforgettable. Her lips, soft and sweet, had left him breathless. He’d never felt anything like it before—a desire so strong it was overwhelming. He couldn’t stop thinking about her, about how much he wanted to kiss her again, this time until her lips were swollen. Breanna I felt like someone was watching me, the weight of their gaze almost tangible. Looking around, I spotted the handsome guy from earlier staring at me from the back of the line. His green eyes burned with intensity, and I quickly looked away. When we got called up for the ride, I realized this time we’d all be separated—two people per cart. Out of nowhere, the guy from earlier jumped into my cart, locking the seats before I could protest. “What the hell are you doing?” Jake snapped from the cart in front of us, sitting with Kallie. “Making sure she’s not alone,” the guy replied, gesturing to me. Kallie laughed and whispered something to Jake. Though he still seemed irritated, he didn’t say anything else. “I don’t need you to ride with me,” I said sharply. “I can ride alone.” “What’s so fun about being alone?” he asked. Then, pointing at Jake, he added, “Is that guy your brother or something?” “Why does it matter?” I snapped, regretting it instantly. He rested his head on the bar, turning to face me. “I’m sorry about earlier,” he said softly. “My friends dared me to kiss you.” His voice was sweet, and my heart skipped a beat again. Damn it—why did this guy affect me so much? Why did I feel the sudden urge to kiss him back? Before I could say anything, the ride started. As we approached the first drop, fear gripped me. I tightened my grip on the bar, my knuckles white. Noticing my fear, he placed his hand over mine. I looked up at him, and before I knew it, he kissed me again. This time, it wasn’t forceful. It was gentle, sweet. Time seemed to stop, and I forgot everything else. “Bre?” Kallie’s voice pulled me back to reality. The guy pulled away just as the ride ended. As soon as the latch unlocked, he stepped out and walked toward the exit without another word, leaving me dazed. “Are you okay, Bre?” Jake asked, concerned. I nodded, still trying to process everything. “Yeah... I’m okay,” I whispered, stepping off the ride. But I wasn’t okay. Why did this guy make me feel so confused? And why did I want to see him again?"Well, that was fun," Tyler says as he reaches to pull Breanna into a hug.She pushes him away. "There was nothing fun about that. Jake is going to tell my mom, and even if he doesn’t, she’ll know just by looking at these marks."Tyler doesn’t let her go so easily—he hugs her tight, his grip too strong for her to break free. Leaning in, he whispers in her ear, "Those will fade if you hold ice on them for a bit. We can convince him not to say anything to your mom, so don’t worry—it’ll work out."He kisses her forehead before finally releasing her. "But you can only hide the ones your mom would be able to see," he adds with a smirk as he pulls on his shirt.Breanna sighs and grabs her clothes from the floor, quickly putting everything on—except her bra.Tyler watches her with a raised eyebrow. "What are you doing?"Breanna looks at him, confused. "What do you mean?"He picks up her bra from the floor and hands it to her. "
Too tired to freak out, Breanna says, "What are you doing here, Tyler?"He pulls her closer and replies, "Well, first off, this is my room."Breanna can smell the alcohol on his breath. "Ty... why are you drinking? And why did you come back?""I don’t normally drink, but I feel like you’re making me go crazy. I want you by my side. I felt uneasy with another guy being here. You never text me, yet you took the note off your door."Silence fills the room."I'm sorry," Tyler says.Breanna turns to face him. "What for…?"Tyler doesn’t reply."Ty..." Breanna whispers."No... why did you have to do that? I've been trying so hard to hold back," Tyler says before pulling her closer and kissing her. Then, he gets on top of her.Hearing the way she whispered his name, seeing the way she looked at him—it drives him over the edge. He wants her so badly, he can't hold back anymore. His hands start to trace
Tyler was fuming as he drove to Dave’s house. He had thought Breanna came back to see him, not to make sure he left before Jake showed up. What was she hiding? Why did it even matter if Jake saw him there? The more he thought about it, the more irritated he got.Grabbing his phone, Tyler called Dave.“Hey, man, what’s up? Are you on your way yet?” Dave answered.“Yeah. Are your parents home?” Tyler asked.“No, they won’t be back until tomorrow. What’s wrong?”“I need to drink. Are you down?”“Always.”“Cool. I’ll be there in five,” Tyler said before hanging up.“Wow, Bre, this house is amazing,” Kallie said, spinning around to take in the large living room.“Yeah, it’s awesome,” Jake agreed.“Let’s order some pizza. It’s already 7 o’clock. Rick gave me his card so I could get food and stuff,” Breanna said, walking toward the kitchen.“That was nice of him,” Kallie said, leaning on the counter.“Yeah, but it sounds like he’s trying to buy your love,” Jake quipped.Kallie rolled her eye
“You’re right, it’s not like he goes to our school or anything,” I sighed, hoping that wouldn’t be the case.“So… how is he in bed?” Kallie asked, leaning in and lowering her voice so no one else could hear.“Kallie… OMG, stop,” I said, embarrassed.“Come on, this is exciting! We never get to girl talk like this!”I stared down at my soda, feeling my cheeks heat up. In a low voice, I admitted, “He’s really, really good.”“He better be with looks like that. How big is he?” she teased.“Kay, stop...”“Come on,” she pressed, grinning.“Big,” I muttered, feeling my face flush crimson.“I’m surprised you can walk,” Kallie teased, laughing.I rolled my eyes but couldn’t stop myself from adding, “He put me in the bath afterward, then carried me to bed.”“So, he’s sexy, big, good in bed, and a gentleman. What’s the problem?”“He’s Rick’s son, Kallie. And we have adjoining rooms connected by a bathroom,” I groaned, placing my face in my hands.“That you’ve already had sex in. The deed is done.
“Oh no, dear... you can sleep in our bed tonight while we’re gone,” Annabel said.“Anna, our bed was part of that delivery,” Rick reminded her in a worried tone.“She can stay in my room tonight,” Tyler offered. “I’ll go to Dave’s house. I don’t feel comfortable letting her sleep on the couch.”“What a gentleman,” Annabel said with a warm smile.“Thank you,” Breanna whispered softly.“Tyler, can you be home early tomorrow so Bre won’t have to be here with the movers by herself?” Rick asked.“No, it’s fine,” Breanna quickly interjected. “Kallie and Jake will be here. He doesn’t have to come early.”Rick raised a brow and looked at Annabel. “Is Jake her boyfriend? Are you sure he’ll be okay here?”Annabel chuckled lightly. “No, dear. Jake has been her friend since kindergarten. He’s more like a big brother. Plus, he’s been dating her best friend for the last three years.”Feeling Tyler’s gaze on her, Breanna added, “We’ve all been friends since kindergarten.”“That’s right,” Annabel con
BreannaHearing what Rick said, Breanna looked at her mom and asked, “Sleeping Beauty?”Her mom giggled and replied, “Yes, earlier he referred to you as Sleeping Beauty. When you were asleep on the couch last night and this morning, Tyler saw you as he left for a run.”Turning her face downward to hide her blush, Breanna thought to herself, A run? How can that guy have so much energy after everything that happened last night? And he said he didn’t sleep properly either. As if reading her thoughts, Rick added, “Don’t worry, he wouldn’t do anything weird to you while you were sleeping. He’s not like Prince Charming in that sense.”Just then, Tyler walked into the room, his timing impeccable. “What do you mean I’m not like Prince Charming?” he asked, smirking.“I wasn’t talking about your looks, son,” Rick replied. “I meant you wouldn’t take advantage of a sleeping woman.”Chuckling to himself, Tyler said, “No, Dad… never to a sleeping beauty.” He thought to himself, I prefer her awake.
