Chapter 12
I woke up earlier than usual this morning to get prepared for my walkout and training with my men. It's my eighteenth year's birthday and I was super excited.
There was no celebration being held, it was canceled at the last minute by evil Miranda. It's not that I was looking forward to it anyway. But I am grateful that at least finally I will be able to meet my mate.

Kyle's POV I found myself alone in the woods, it was in the dead of the night, wait, maybe not completely dead of the night, it felt as if the moon had covered the sun. kyle's pov I looked for an excuse to quickly get away from Richard, I didn't like the fact that he was becoming too touchy with me. Kyle's POV My heart was racing while I took the stairs leading to my room, I was nervous, confused, and disoriented. Like what just happened to me? Why didn't I stop the bastard and why was I enjoying his teases. I have read and heard numerous times that these types of emotions only happen when you meet the one, the one destined to be your soul mate. But I am not yet eighteen, at least that is what my mother has made me believe, unless, of course, I am to believe that my mother does not know my age. I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't know when I bumped into someone on the stairs. “I'm so sorry,” I said, as I lifted my eyes to see that it was Queen Miranda. “Are you alright?” She asked scrutinizing me with her eyes. “Yes, I'm fine,” I answered trying my best not to give her any reason to know that I was miserable on the inside.
