Nick's POV
I was discussing with a few guys about tightening the level of security in our pack after hearing that one of the few rebellious packs around is planning to attack us.The howling moon pack is known to be very vicious when it comes to battle, they have attacked our pack severally and most times we lose a few good soldiers. During this period we do not allow our pack members anywhere close to the borders.
We were seriously deliberately on how to keep the residents of our pack safe, after which I had plans to go look for Simeon who was absent from this morning's training.
I was about to round off the discussion with the guys when her scent came strong into the air. I also noticed the guys were sort of distracted only to follow their gaze and found that they were looking at the rogue girl who looked like she was desperately trying to get away from something.

Nick's POV “Did you hurt her? kyle's pov I looked for an excuse to quickly get away from Richard, I didn't like the fact that he was becoming too touchy with me. I don't know what goes on in his head, one minute he is all arrogant, next minute he can't take his hands off me. It's very annoying especially since I am not physically attracted to him. Kyle's POV My heart was racing while I took the stairs leading to my room, I was nervous, confused, and disoriented. Like what just happened to me?
