Chapter 27

After Adeline left the cafe, she directly and hurriedly went to her car. She slid herself inside then start the car engine and drove the car away from the cafe. She stopped the car when she thought that she was finally miles away from the cafe and from Drake.

Her tears then started to fall one by one. She cry and cry as she remember Drake's words. His insults to her and the humiliation he gave her in the cafe. The pain seemed so unbearable for Adeline to handle.

At first Adeline did not know if where she got the guts to slap Drake. All she knows is that something inside her is telling her to do such thing to him, to slap him. And the slap she gave him is surely a hard one, and it will definitely leave a trace on his face.

She sighed then starts the car engine again then drove off to Dan's house.
