Chapter 24

Storm POV

I've been noticing Bea's nervousness for a while now. From the time I picked her up at their house until we got to the venue of the event, she was restless so I couldn't help but laugh because of her appearance.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked her.

"Nothing, I'm nervous. I told you not to take me with you anymore and I'm not used to this," she answered me.

"I told you just be yourself, right? You don't have anything else to do at the event other than accompany me. You'll get used to it." I said.

"You can only take Nigel or Kiara with you," she snorted.

"You know they're busy right now so you can't disturb them," I said. "Don't worry too much baby, everything will be alright," I added.

It wasn't long before we arrived at the venue, because it was the birthday of one of my investors.

I checked Bea and nervousness is still evident on her face. I know she's not used to this but I have to train her so that if it lasts she won't be shy anymore.
