Chapter six.

Scarlet's Pov (continuation)

"You do smell like one." He says nodding his head.

"So am a rogue." I ask hoping off the counter.

What if am a rogue. I have that sharp sense and strength.

Imagine all the fun thing I can do.

"No. You are too weak to be a werewolf." He deadpans making my smile slip.

"What do you mean am weak. Am not weak." I scowl crossing my arms around my chest.

I have been bullied and looked down on since I was little but that doesn't makes me weak, it only made me stronger.

"Then punch me." He propose like a hero about to sacrifice himself for the world.

"Punch you." I pop an eyebrow.

"Don't worry too much it won't hurt." He assures. "Am sure you will be fine."

"Me." I glare at him. What insulence. "Let's see who get hurt." I mutter to myself and by the small scoff he makes am sure he must have picked it up with his wolf hearing.

Balling my hand into a hard fist I haul it towards his face, stopping mid air.

I can't hit him.

Even if I know it won't hurt. It's still wrong to hit people.

And besides I'd be saving my fingers from an excruciating pain.

Ya know how strong werewolf's are.

"See, you can't even throw a punch." I roll my eyes at his word, turning stiff when I realise what I had just done.

I let out a breath of relief when nothing happens.

He'd usually hit me hard when ever I roll my eyes. He'd call me a very bad girl.

I look up to see Zack giving me a worried look.

I must have let my fear slip through me.

"Am done with breakfast, can we go out now?"

"As you wish Luna Scarlet." He bows respectfully.

I don't think I can even get use to this. All of this. It's like waking up one morning to find out you have royal blood flowing through you vein.

I breath in the cool fresh air amazed at how good it feels. Finally am outside.

"Should we visit the pack training ground first or the pack living area?"

"Hmmm." I place a finger on my cheek. They have a training ground. "Let's go to the pack training ground first."

We watch them train from a distance but I guess they can still catch my scent since I keep getting hard and icy glares.

Am sure the only thing stopping them from watering the grasses with my blood is because of Zack standing next to me. To be precise guarding me.

Unlike what I had expected the groups are not separated by gender, but only by age groups. And together to form a group of four.

First I think from around six to ten, eleven to fourteen, fifteen to eighteen and the last nineteen to a wide range of adults. Even the old ones.

Both the male and female train together and to be honest, they are really skillful.

It's like a scene from a Chinese movie seeing them fight against one another. It gives me the motivation to learn how to defend myself.

My stomach grumbles reminding me of the time and how long we have been standing here.

"We should go get lunch. Then maybe we can visit the pack living area next." Zack states and I reply with a small nod not knowing what to say.

I never really had a chance to develop on my social skills before since I don't really have lots of friend, I mean I have only one, Rex. So it really isn't helping.

Talking about Rex, I wonder how he is doing. Does he miss me? Is he worried? He must be, I left without any word.

I hope he is fine.

We arrive at the small shop, surprisingly it's full with people. Easily guessed were's. Aren't they all like supposed to be in the training ground.

All head snaps to my direction as we walk in. Low and angry growls escape their lips while Zack pushes me behind him in a protective stance.

A loud threatening growl erupts from behind me silencing all the others.

I knew who it is even before those muscular arms wraps around me filling me with a sense of warmth.

"You can go kiddo. I will take it from here." He says to Zack who gives him a respectful bow.

"Yes Alpha." He then turns to me. "Bye Scarlet."

His face turns white when Austen gives him a look and he must have realise his mistake as he quickly corrects himself. "I mean....bye Luna." He bows dashing out of the shop.

"Did you really have to do that?" I ask as we settle down at a table near the glass window at the very end of the room.

Far away from the other were's.

"Do what?" Austen feigns innocence giving me a full grin.

"Why are you here?" I pop an eyebrow changing the subject. "Aren't you supposed to be dealing with your Alpha duties."

"It's lunch time." He replies signalling the waitress to come over.

"Lunch time." Is it high school or what. "You have lunch time?"

"No,I missed you so I decided to take a break."

"My normal in two please." He turns to the waitress who then bows exposing her cleavage with a seducing smile.

Her smile is soon replaced with a frown when Austen advert his eyes to me and she sends me a scowl before walking away.

What's up with her? Or more like everybody.

My fingers tightly wraps around the hem of my dress, trying hard to shrug off the lasers been directed at me.

Austen pushes his chair back then stands up. Picking me up in a bridal style.

"Let's go somewhere else."

(This is my first time writing a supernatural book so please bare with me ladies and gentlemen. It's going to get better. Any way rate and comment. Love yal. ADIOS.)

not bad so far but I feel like it's a little la la land and less releastic because when scarlet found out about werewolf's she was not scared but in real life she would have been terrified
