KAEL

The meeting with Alpha Renren was rather boring stuff.

We sat in the private booth of the restaurant, security discreet at the doors, and talked numbers.

Corporation deals between our companies: his pack’s tech firms partnering with my royal-backed labs for better lunar encryption software.

Border resource shares.

Joint patrols against the vampire push.

All necessary.

All dull.

I nodded at the right times, signed where Liam slid the tablet toward me, but my mind wandered.

Restless.

The food tasted like nothing.

Renren’s voice droned on, steady and confident, but every word felt distant.

My chest ached with a constant, low throb—the bond pulling, reminding me she was out there.

Away.

Healing.

Or running.

When the deal was sealed with a firm handshake, relief washed over me, thin and fleeting.

At least this was done.

I stood, buttoned my jacket, and left the restaurant without lingering goodbyes.

Liam followed, ever so cold, face blank as always, tablet tucked under his arm.

  • Became His Mate By Accident    The Date l

KAELI couldn’t fall asleep last night. The phone sat on my nightstand, screen dark, but her messages burned bright in my mind.Yes.Yes.Simple words. But they lit me up like nothing had in years. She agreed to go out with me.Excitement buzzed under my skin, warm and restless, keeping me awake until dawn crept through the windows.I wish we could go to the movies today.Right now.But I needed to prepare. The movie date had to be perfect. No guards too close. No interruptions. No reminders of crowns or monsters or assassins.Just us.For once.I rolled out of bed early, showered, dressed in something simple—dark shirt, jeans, nothing that screamed king.Liam was already waiting outside the door with coffee and the day’s schedule.I took the cup, couldn’t hide the smile tugging at my lips.He glanced at me once. Then stared, expression flat but eyes screaming disbelief.Exasperated.As expected.I sipped the coffee, still smiling.Such a rude assistant, I thought, amusement flickerin

  • Became His Mate By Accident    Who Is Elena Really?

ELENA“Ice isn’t someone you ask casually, Leny,” he said. His voice was low now, all the playfulness drained away. The warmth in his eyes had turned serious, almost protective. My heart skipped, a chill creeping up despite the cozy room.“You can be killed for casually mentioning her name.”What?Killed? The word hung in the air, heavy and ridiculous and terrifying all at once.I stared at him, mouth half-open, trying to process.“Brother… killed?”He nodded once, expression softening just a fraction.“Yes. She’s an assassin.”He reached over, ruffled my hair again like I was still little, but gentler this time.“But you don’t need to worry. Big brother will protect you. And besides, her target now is the King."The smile came back, small but real, like he was trying to lighten the mood for my sake.“Go to sleep. Don’t worry about all this.”He stood, gave me one last reassuring look, and walked away. The door clicked softly behind him.I sat there on the bed, staring at the closed d

ELENA Kael? What? How did he get my number? My heart did a stupid little flip, surprise mixing with a flutter I didn’t want to name. {Duh, he’s the king.} Roundy’s voice popped up, dry as ever. I rolled my eyes, cheeks warming. “Oh, oh, but why’s he texting me?” {You’re his mate. You’re getting dumber as days pass. It’s alarming.} The sarcasm stung, but it also made me huff a laugh. “Listen, Roundy, I’m like a mother to you, so respect me, okay?” {Yes, mother.} He said it dripping with sarcasm, and I could practically see him rolling his digital eyes. I snorted, shaking my head, the tension from downstairs easing just a bit. Then I opened the chat. Three messages. Simple. Direct. My chest tightened with something soft and unexpected. It felt… cute. Almost shy, coming from him. I answered the third one first, fingers hovering before typing. Yes I did just now. Hit send. Then the second. I’m recovering. Send. A pause, my pulse picking up with nervous exciteme

ELENAI walked downstairs for lunch, trying not to trip over my own nerves. The dining hall was all polished wood and fancy plates, smelling like heaven—roast meat, fresh bread, some kind of creamy soup that made my stomach do a happy flip. And there she was.Liora.My emotionless sister, sitting ramrod straight, black hair perfect, face like she’d practiced “blank” in the mirror. No smile. No wave.Just that cool, distant vibe.I kinda missed stabby sister, I thought, biting back a grin.Roundy popped up in my head, scoffing.{It’s only you who would miss someone that killed you.}“That will kill the original Elena, you mean,” I shot back silently, rolling my eyes. “It’s not happening anymore. Plot twist: I’m un-stabbable now.”Famous last words, probably.I pulled out the chair right next to her—close enough to be sisterly, far enough not to crowd. She stood up.Smooth as a cat.Moved to the complete opposite side of the table.Sat again.Eyes on her plate.I blinked. Then snorted.

  • Became His Mate By Accident    Home Sweet Home ll

ELENAI stared at my father. He stared back, those cold eyes unblinking, like he was trying to see straight through me to whatever secrets I was hiding. The weight of it pressed on my chest, a cold knot of anxiety tightening until I could barely breathe.I pulled away from my mother. Gently, but firmly. Her arms still clinging, tears soaking my shoulder. Her sobs hitched, but she let me go, wiping her face with trembling hands. The silence stretched, heavy and awkward, until a new voice broke it. Bright, warm, full of genuine happiness that felt almost foreign after everything.“Leny!”A man bounded out the front door, golden hair catching the sunlight, grin wide and boyish.“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming today?”He looked like a golden retriever in human form. Tall, energetic, eyes sparkling with pure joy.My brain short-circuited.Huh? Roundy, who’s this guy? His golden hair makes him look like a golden retriever.{He's your brother. Sebastian.}I froze inside, a rush of s
