Their actions made Zedekiel frown. They came for battle and he would give them one. They would know what it meant to mess with him and Frederick would have it beaten into his bones that Prince Ron could never be his. Not now, not ever.

One of the men threw his sword on the floor and raised his hands in a form of surrender. "This is the man you brought us to fight, Frederick? I do not want to fight anymore. To hell with you all!"

He turned to leave but suddenly felt a huge force knock him down to his knees. It was so heavy he felt his bones were going to be crushed. He couldn't move a single part of his body. He began to panic.

Zedekiel exerted more pressure, making the man bow. "The second you all stepped foot into my home, you should have known that none of you were going to leave here with your lives."

The men all went pale. A few wet their pants on the spot. The King had no intention of letting them go.

They were all dark magic practitioners. They reeked of the rotten stench. L

  • Becoming the Elf King's bride   Chapter 320

Prince Ron became excited. He couldn't believe it. His beloved had really planned a date! How romantic. He used to think his beloved wasn't really a romantic person but look at the gifts. A gorgeous set of robes and shoes, a large bouquet of roses, a beautiful shiny crown and a love letter! Even a love letter! Could he really wait until he gets in the carriage to read it? A little sneak wouldn't hurt right? He stepped forward to check out the gifts and as if the Queen Mother could read his mind, she quickly held him back. "Hold on dear. You should wash up and get some food in you. I'm sure the young ones are starving.” She then steered him in the direction of the bathroom. “I've already asked the kitchen to prepare three servings each of all your favourite dishes." Considering the way Prince Ron had been eating for the past few days. She was sure he could eat it all. It was a good thing for it meant the babies were healthy. Elfin babies were unique. They eat a lot and draw energy f

Just as he was contemplating dragging himself upright, a voice startled him from the shadows.“Oh my, you’re finally awake."Prince Ron jumped, eyes widening in alarm as his head whipped around toward the voice. The Queen Mother chuckled lightly from her seat across the room, elegantly closing the book she’d been reading and placing it on a small table beside her. “No need to look so frightened, dear. I didn’t mean to startle you.” She rose gracefully to her feet and moved toward the window.“You’ve been asleep for half a day,” she added with a knowing smile, pulling the curtains open. Her son was quite sharp and vigorous. She thought her son would be slow as usual and not touch Prince Ron because of the babies but she was very happy to hear Prince Ron’s muffled screams as she passed by their room last night. It was good. When she was pregnant with Zedekiel, her husband used to do the same. In fact, they went at it like rabbits. In fact, if Zedekiel hadn't taken any action, she would

Prince Ron’s wide emerald eyes stared up at him, sparkling like gems, their depths filled with warmth and something tender that made Zedekiel’s chest tighten. Though most of Ron’s body was hidden beneath the sheets, his bare shoulders and arms were exposed—his creamy skin glowing faintly in the low light. The soft curves of his body, the elegant line of his neck, and the delicate rise of his chest all seemed to beckon to Zedekiel like a whisper in the dark. The sheet curved gently over Ron’s swollen belly, drawing Zedekiel’s attention and his gaze lingered there. That swell, those lives nestled safely within Ron elicited a warm, possessive glow that spread through Zedekiel’s chest. He couldn’t stop the small, satisfied smile that tugged at his lips. His little husband, the kids inside him. They were all his. Prince Ron flushed under his beloved's heated stare for his body was betraying him. The way his beloved stared at him, like he wanted to eat him up made heat flare beneath his s

He then gently raised Ron’s legs over his shoulders, settling himself in between those soft creamy thighs. Prince Ron went beet red. He was splayed wide open before his beloved, his pretty pink drenched hole on full display and the vulnerable position made him feel hot all over. It wasn't the first time he was laid bare before his beloved but he couldn't help but feel so shy. He tried to retract his legs but Zedekiel held them firm then bent low, planting kisses on his forehead, his eyes, cheeks, and nose before whispering seductively in his ear; “I want you love. I want to sink every single rigid inch of myself deep inside you.” And Prince Ron melted even more in his beloved's arms. When did his beloved become so bold? He wanted to shout, ‘then what are you waiting for?! Hurry and put it in!’ Zedekiel couldn't help but laugh. It seemed like his little husband still didn't know how to properly project his thoughts. But it didn't matter. He loved hearing Ron’s thoughts anyway. Jus

Every official, servant, and guard froze as if time itself had stopped. Their King—clad in black and silver robes that rippled with power, violet eyes sharp as blades—strode forward with the quiet authority of a god. His steps echoed through the grand hall, each one resonating like thunder in the stunned silence and no one dared to breathe too loudly. They wondered, what was their King going to do? Was he angry that they were all gathered there, listening to the human Prince's story of how they met? Were they they ones in trouble or was it the human Prince? But then, their King would not do anything to the human Prince right? After all, the human Prince was carrying his babies. Prince Ron stood at the center of it all, bathed in soft afternoon light that filtered through the tall stained-glass windows. While everyone was busy feeling terrified, he was busy grinning from ear to ear for he could directly feel what his beloved was feeling and what his beloved was feeling was love. Pure

Kayziel struggled to respond, but Zedekiel’s hand had sealed his throat too tightly. His mouth opened, but no sound came out. He couldn't believe it. How come his plan didn't work? The person Zedekiel was supposed to be choking was Ron not him!“That’s what you did to us just now and I bet,” Zedekiel continued, “that’s exactly what you did to Ron.”“Obviously.” Alaric scoffed, stepping forward. “Ron is the kind of person who would help anyone in need and you took advantage of that. You must have shown him something that made him feel sorry for you so he would help you.”“I bet that's how he got Ron to give him the fucking Soul Transfer books.” Talon added, looking at Zedekiel. “Your little husband must have thought he was helping your fucking evil uncle. I don't think there's any need to hear any more from him.” He cracked his knuckles, chuckling darkly. “Let's fucking deal with him.” Zedekiel glanced at the Soul Crucible, thinking of destroying his uncle’s soul forever but then, he j

In a blink, Zedekiel and Alaric found themselves standing in Zedekiel’s private chambers. The place was immaculate. Every item was precisely where it should be—elegant, silent, undisturbed. The large dining table was perfectly set with an array of exquisite dishes, but the food was untouched. The doors creaked open and in walked Prince Ron, accompanied by his manservant, Cordin. Prince Ron glanced at the cold dishes and frowned.“Cordin, get me a warming pot,” he said.“At once, Your Highness.”Cordin returned quickly, and Prince Ron pointed to the table. “Pick out Zedekiel’s favorite dishes and put them in the pot. I don’t want him coming back to cold food.”“Yes, Your Highness.”Prince Ron then stretched and climbed into the massive bed, letting out a tired sigh. “And don’t wake me up. When he gets back, tell him I waited all night. Act like I was deathly worried and you had to beg me to sleep while assuring me he was alright wherever he was.”“B-But Your Highness,” Cordin stammered

Kayziel snickered inwardly, though he kept his expression solemn. It didn’t matter whether the phoenix joined or not. The moment Zedekiel saw what he had to show, the damage would have already been done. He couldn't believe his nephew was still so naive. Even after all the centuries that had passed, he still trusted people easily. So foolish.Zedekiel had hacked off his limbs one by one and sealed him beneath the sacred roots of the Mother Tree. Stripped him of power, dignity, and freedom. Now, he had destroyed his plans to take over Netheridge and live a good life. Why should he let Zedekiel be happy? He already knew that Zedekiel was not going to let him off. He was going to die in the most painful way Zedekiel could conjure so he would take something from Zedekiel first. If he could not live, then let his nephew’s love burn instead.“What are you waiting for?” Zedekiel snarled, his grip tightening around the Soul Crucible. He had half a mind to not see what Kayziel wanted to show t

Alaric didn’t answer. His face, usually impassive, was drawn tight. His onyx eyes were stormy and his lips parted as if he wanted to speak, but no words came. He clenched his jaw and fists, unable to tell Zedekiel what he was about to see. How would he even tell him? They had opened the lantern, ready to unleash hell on whoever had possessed Ron but when they saw who it was, they knew Zedekiel had to be called back.Zedekiel drew in a deep breath. He didn’t need words to know something was deeply wrong. He couldn't wait to know what it was so he increased his speed, disappearing in a blur and reappearing before the cell door in the dungeon’s lowest levels. Alaric arrived three seconds later. They both stood still for a moment, facing the thick metal door and Zedekiel curled his fists. It was time to face whoever had made their lives hell for 3 months. He pushed open the door, the hinges creaking as they stepped inside. The room was dimly lit by the light pearls embedded into the walls
