Mag-log in“Reid… have you ever thought about starting your own company?”
It was nearly midnight when I asked, my voice low, but the question hung in the air like smoke. That was how Row was born—a single word whispered between two ambitious minds, one hungry for redemption, the other for success. A storm was quietly brewing beneath the surface of the business world, and it started with that name.
I transferred every penny I had saved from years of treating others—rogues, pack members, enemies alike—straight into Reid’s hands. Then I stared at my now pathetic bank balance. Single digits. Not even enough for a cab ride.
In my past life, I built Snow Moon Pack’s prestige with my own two hands—my skills, my healing, my connections. All of it had gone to them. And in the end, they’d let me die. Never again.
This time, I’d use those same assets to burn their empire to the ground.
But even with a master plan in motion, sleep didn’t come easy. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Avery shoving poison down my throat, Lilith sneering at my suffering, and Kane—my fated mate—clutching my lifeless body as if his grief could reverse time.
I jolted upright, heart pounding, lungs tight.
I didn’t want to be alone.
So, I did something insane—I climbed over Kane’s courtyard wall in the dead of night and slipped into his bed like I belonged there.
As I nestled under the covers, his scent wrapped around me—crisp lime mixed with cold pine and something deeply comforting, like home I never had. He stirred but did not wake up. Instead, his arm instinctively pulled me close. The heat of his scars brushed against my cheek, and I melted into him.
For the first time in days, I fell asleep without nightmares.
---
When Kane woke the next morning, he was already warm—and not from the blanket.
His gaze drifted down to see me nestling against his chest, my golden curls spilling across his shoulder, my lips barely parted in sleep. Sunlight caught the tips of my lashes, casting shadows on my cheekbones.
Kane swallowed hard. Heat flushed through him, fast and wild.
He reached out to push me away but hesitated—his fingers instead brushing against my cheek, lingering far too long before gliding toward my lips. Just as his fingertips grazed them, I stirred.
“Mmm… don’t rub my head,” I mumbled groggily, “You’ll make me bald.”
Caught.
Kane yanked his hand away like he had been burned. His voice came out gruff. “Your room is next door.”
I sat up slowly, hair tousled, voice still thick with sleep. “We are already married. You want me to sleep alone forever?” I tilted my head, watching him squirm. “Are you rejecting me?”
He avoided my gaze, jaw clenched. “There is no emotional foundation between us. This… isn’t right.”
I leaned in, undeterred. “We are fated mates. Destiny already made the choice for us. The rest—we build.”
I was bluffing. My cheeks were on fire, and my heart would not stop pounding, but being in his arms had helped me sleep. I could not admit how much I needed that.
Then he said it—his voice dead serious.
“So, if we’re fated… does that mean it’s only natural for me to do what fated mates usually do in bed?”
My breath caught.
His gaze dropped pointedly to the tented sheet between us. I blinked. Heat exploded across my face.
“W-Wait,” I stammered, “Can that even… I mean, you… your legs…”
Kane looked like he wanted to sink into the mattress. “I may be injured, but I’m not dead below the waist.”
I clamped my hand over my face. “I mean, I didn’t check! How would I know—”
“Do you want to?” he challenged, half amused, half annoyed.
“Nope! I’m good!” I squeaked and scrambled out of bed. “I’m going downstairs! Take your time handling your… situation!”
Before I shut the door, I glanced back and caught a glimpse of his bandaged arm.
“Hope he doesn’t hurt the other one,” I thought, cheeks burning.

Downstairs, the table was already set and breakfast was waiting. The milk was still warm, and yet no one was around. Zack really was some kind of ghost butler. I wondered how Kane managed living here alone. Didn’t he get lonely?
I bit into a piece of toast just as the elevator hummed.
Zack.
I looked up at him, freshly changed and descending like royalty.
“You’re fast,” I blurted, then instantly regretted it.
His jaw tightened. “I am not.”
The double meaning hit me square in the face. I choked on my toast, eyes darting to the blanket covering his lap.
Flushed, I grabbed my milk and chugged it like it was holy water. “I have plans today! Busy, busy! Bye!”
I bolted out of the villa, toast in mouth, practically diving into the nearest cab.
I wasn’t just escaping him—I had a mission. Alpha Norman of the Moon Pack was in the hospital.
A critical business partner of the Snow Moon Pack.
Time to shake things up.
At that moment, Reddit was buzzing with discussion.【Isn’t Lilith professionally trained? Why is her acting so bad—and she doesn’t even have basic professionalism? She’s just playing an extra, yet she’s caused so many problems.】【Am I the only one curious? Aren’t films usually shot under strict confidentiality? Why is this one allowing livestreams? Doesn’t that completely spoil the content?】【Guess you don’t know—this movie is coming out next month. The schedule is extremely tight. So they specially selected a few scenes to promote the film through the variety show’s footage.】【Why the rush?】【I heard it was requested by one of the actors. Not sure why, though.】Only a handful of people knew the real reason for the rush.Cejay was running out of time. The director and producers wanted this film to be a final gift for him.Even though he wasn’t the male lead&mdash
Everyone moved to the next filming location—the street set for the following scene.“This scene requires explosions. Don’t be afraid—everything has passed safety inspections. No one will get hurt. The only thing is, the noise might be a bit loud.”“You all know your marks, right? Let’s try to get it in one take—the explosion effects are expensive!”The moment Lilith heard there would be explosions, she instantly lost her nerve. She was just about to say something when Jevon shot her a glare.“If you don’t want to act, then pretend you’re sick.”If he had said that in the past, Lilith would have thought Jevon was caring about her, helping her come up with an excuse. But now, it sounded full of mockery and disdain. After all, whenever she didn’t want to do something before, hadn’t she always avoided it by pretending to be sick?Just like las
The makeup artist looked aggrieved. “Princess Lilith, we’ve already changed your look twice. You didn’t like this one, and you didn’t like that one either…”“I don’t like them because your makeup skills are terrible! I don’t even know why Jevon hired useless people like you.”The two makeup artists felt wronged but didn’t dare talk back, afraid that the princess’s next sentence would be to tell Jevon to fire them. There was no helping it—being a makeup artist for a top star paid far too well!Meanwhile, Cejay’s makeup artist had already started styling me.“Miss Mia, what kind of makeup and look would you like?”I didn’t understand much about it and wasn’t picky. “You’re the best makeup team, so just design it based on your understanding of the character. Oh, and here’s the character profile I’ll be playing.”
Cejay is a true veteran actor, backed by military forces. He’s over seventy years old. It’s said his health isn’t good and his temper isn’t either—even Dwyn can barely get a word in with him.If it weren’t for Cejay’s superb acting skills and his obsession with performing, given his age and background, he would have long since retired and been enjoying his later years.Seeing the situation, Jevon couldn’t help but advise, “You’d better stop provoking Senior Cejay. Otherwise, even I won’t be able to help you.”“Mia, stop knocking. He’s not going to open the door. Why embarrass yourself?”As soon as the siblings finished speaking, the door opened. It was Cejay’s assistant. He glanced at me impatiently and was about to shut the door when he noticed Kane behind me. He quickly opened it wider. “Come in.”I stood there with my mouth open&mda
“I guess she’s a rescued Rogue,” Lilith said. “The clothes don’t fit her. She was probably a she-wolf abused by an enemy Pack’s Rogues. After being rescued, she had nothing to wear, so a Gamma gave her their clothes.”Everyone listened to her analysis. It sounded reasonable, but her tone was so sarcastic that it made it seem as if I had truly been violated.Yvonne remained neutral and offered a compromise guess. “Maybe a newly enlisted female Warrior, so she doesn’t have properly fitted clothes yet.”After the guesses were made, everyone looked at the director. The director sighed. “The closest to the answer is Wane.”“How is that possible?” Lilith refused to believe it. How could Mia have drawn the role of a female Gamma?“In fact, she drew an Omega,” the director explained. “But to save the severely injured male lead, she switched clothes
At this moment, my stomach was already cramping in spasms. Cold sweat soaked my back, my face turned pale, and a surge of anger was lodged in my chest, almost suffocating me.The two of them just left like that—without even noticing I was in this much pain. If it had been Mia…In my dazed state, I actually thought I saw Mia running toward me anxiously—her worried expression, her gentle voice. But my memories were abruptly interrupted by Lilith’s endless complaints.“Wuwuwu, Jevon, you’re too much! The production team and Mia teamed up to bully me. It’s fine if you won’t help me, but you even yelled at me!”“You’ve been in the entertainment industry for so long. Don’t you suspect that the scandals about your studio’s artists have something to do with Mia?”“Her negative trending topics with Jezin had just come out, and then that same marketing account got hacked and exposed so many scandals about you. Wasn’t that just to suppress Mia’s trendi
After signing the management contract, Liana had her driver take me home. I didn’t think much of it at the time—it was a simple ride in a black SUV from her gated villa community. I never expected that brief exit would be caught on camera by a Shadow Wolf.By Monday morning, I was back on set, read
Lilith didn’t hesitate; she slipped into the front passenger seat, leaving me alone on the street. Justin reacted immediately, struggling in the back seat.“Let me out! I want to go home with my sister!” he barked. But Selene’s voice was like ice. “Drive. To the airport.”The driver didn’t question
It happened in the blink of an eye—two seconds, maybe less. From the outside, my movements were smooth, controlled, and utterly precise. Clinical. But that wasn’t how the internet saw it.According to the production script, Lilith was supposed to put on a brave face, endure the dislocated thumb, an
“The reason I called you here today,” Shawn began, clasping his hands like a shrewd businessman, “is to discuss your connection with Mia.”He didn’t even try to ease it.“Our Pack elders believe the best way to calm the rumors swirling around is for our two Packs to unite through marriage.
