19. Vengeful Spirit : Can you also 'see' them?-Part 2
"Can you...can you also 'see them'?" She asked him in a hopeful tone.
Both of them are staring at each other in silence. The time ticked by slowly, and it felt like an eternity had passed. Thalia suddenly snapped from her reverie.
Izzat is leaning his body towards the wall with crossed arms. He amusedly eyed Thalia's reaction, his head tilted slightly. The girl seemed to realize an unimportant fact. That was the first time Izzat was reciprocating her intense gaze.
Thalia quickly put a distance between the two of them and lowered her head in embarrassment. Her face reddened. The red color spread out to the tip of her ears and the back of her slender neck.
"What do you mean by that, Thalia? See what?" Rather than answering her question, Izzat pretended he didn't understand Thalia's inquiry.
"Those black and hazy mist that surrounds Lim's body this entire time. You saw them, right? Just like me."
Izzat didn't deny nor agree with her accusation.

There's nothing here except pitch-black darkness and a wide space area. There's no car or any vehicle. The place is illuminated by fluorescent lamps that sometimes flickered in and out as if this building lacked electrical energy. It is not a weird occurrence. Since it is a deserted place, devoid of any living human, of course, electricity is sacred energy. Do ghosts use electricity? For what reason? Firstly, where is this?
