“Let me guess: your dad asked you to buy gifts for all the Kings’ family members?” Raf stated, as he took off his helmet.

“Your mom did the same?” I asked.

He nodded and laughed. “Sit back! Let’s go together!”

“I will accept your proposition to give me a lift, but then we will go separate ways. You can’t just ignore me 2 weeks because of Charlotte and then talk to me, like nothing is wrong!”

“Sorry, Peanut! I hope everything goes back to normal soon, but until it does, it has to be this way,” he apologized and put on the helmet, giving me another one to wear. I wore it and sat on the bike.

“Hold on tight!” he screamed and I put my hands around his waist.

As he started riding, I tightened my grip on him. I noticed him yearning to look at me. I imagined his face with a smirk plastered on it. But somehow, even this annoying smirk of his made me feel better
