Chapter Nine

I was still seated on my bed, praying and hoping for night to come when I heard a knock on my room door. I frowned immediately but decided to just answer to hear what the person there had to say.

"Yes, what do you want actually?" I asked, feeling reluctant.

"I'm sorry to disturb you ma'am, but Alpha sent me to call you downstairs." I heard a lady's voice from outside the room.

My mate was calling me again to come out of my room, but I would always be so stubborn towards him. I'm never going to honour any of his invitations to come out of my room.

"Go back to him, and tell him, I'm not coming out of this room." I spoke up, loud enough so she could hear me.

"Ok ma'am I will do just that." She said, and I could hear her footsteps fading away.

"I will do everything possible to frustrate him, so he can finally let me out of this house." I said to myself, and relaxed back on my bed as I shut my eyes tightly.
