Chapter 35. Like Raising Three Naughty Kids

“If you lose, the kids will sleep with you for as long as they like.”

Mike and Mika cheered.

“Yeay, I love Daddy!” Mika hugged Cade followed by Mike who had also sat next to her.

Fay looked disgustedly at the father and two children.

“It doesn’t matter what you ask. I’ll win anyway. Don’t cry if you lose your car tonight.” Fay couldn’t bear to look at the piece of steak in front of her. “Let’s go!”

Mika counted for them. At three, Fay ate the steak directly with her hands even though there was a knife and fork. Cade fought back nausea at the way Fay ate. She sliced the meat into slightly larger pieces than usual and started eating it.

Fay ate like she was possessed. Like a hungry demon had entered her. The sound of her chewing made Cade’s head spin.

“The rules—“ Cade cut again with the knife and stabbed with the fork. “Whoever finishes the most pieces wins.”

“I know,” Fay said after swallowing the first piece. She picked up the next piece and looked down at Cade who had yet to finish
