Chapter 37. Free Lunch

Of course, the person who reprimanded them was Kevin. Who else would it be? And how embarrassing would it be to talk about someone and be overheard?

"Kevin?!" A startled Callie and Fay called out in unison.

The young man, Kevin, laughed at the two girls who seemed surprised by his arrival. Callie looked embarrassed. As for Fay, her shocked expression turned cheerful. She didn't feel the slightest bit embarrassed at being heard talking about Kevin.

"Hello, Kevin. It's true what Callie said. You look cooler after two years," Fay greeted the young man.

Callie winced at Fay's remark. When did she say that?

"Really? What do you think?" Kevin sat next to Fay.

Kevin did look different in his expensive suit. Fay used to only see this young man in a T-shirt and shirt every day. Clothes can make a person's appearance change.

"Not bad."

Kevin furrowed his brows, feeling dissatisfied. "Just fine?"

Fay nodded quickly like a chicken pecking at the bait, much to Kevin's amusement.
