Chapter 38. Looks like Mommy Has a Boyfriend

Fay nodded casually in response. Not caring at all about the way the two were looking.

"Are you guys dating?" Now it was Mika who asked. The little girl looked curious.

Fay chuckled at the question. "Of course not. Isn't it okay to have lunch with a friend?"

Both children were still dissatisfied with Fay's answer. They were still staring at Fay with both pairs of eyes that occasionally blinked playfully.

"Don't believe me? Whatever." Fay got up from her seat and went to the room.

The two children looked at each other.

"Do you think mommy has a boyfriend?" Mika asked her brother.

Mike pursed his lips and didn't answer. He seemed to be seriously thinking.

"I think that guy named Kevin likes mommy. Look at how he calls to make sure that Mommy has arrived safely." Mika shared her analysis.

"I think so too." Mike agreed.

"And it looks like they have an appointment the day after tomorrow. Mike, let's tell Daddy. Whoever that person is, we can't let him near mommy."

"But Daddy won't care."
