Fourteen: KAYDEN

After a few minutes of trying to pacify the raging thoughts in my head, I muster up strength and leave the kitchen, my footsteps the only sound echoing lightly through the walls of the empty corridor.

Just as I enter the sitting room, I stumble upon Lisa grabbing a bottle of wine and a glass from the mini bar in the dining area. Her eyes catches mine staring at her in surprise.
