We snap back our eyes to each other, our hands still gripping the saucepan."Give me the pan Kayden. I want to wash it. You can go check the pizza before it burns."He tries to resist, but my pulling grip on the saucepan is tight. He finally succumbs, seeing how hellbent I am about being the one to wash the saucepan. Of course I can't let him do everything in this kitchen alone.As I wash the saucepan, he brings out the pizza. The aroma fills the air, and I can definitely tell that it is chicken pizza. My favorite.Done with washing the saucepan, I wipe it with the dishcloth before placing it back with the other kitchen pots and utensils. Kayden has already carried the pizza to the table at the center of the living room. In this surreal moment, all I can see, all I can breathe, is Kayden.At first, surprise freezes my body to ice, keeping my eyes open, but then the firecracking sensations of Kayden's soft lips moving on mine begins to heat up every hair fiber of my skin. I flutter my eyes close, welcoming it, allowing myself to be lost in him and in this breathtaking kiss.I have waited for so long to feel this way, and now that it is happening, it is everything I have ever dreamed of it to be and more.He tastes like buttermint, just the same way he tasted the last time we kissed. His hands cup my cheeks as his lips continue to claim my mouth, tender but firm, moving expertly over each of my lips with insatiable fire and need, allowing me to also simultaneously taste his lips and not just one. I grip the soft material of his sleeveless shirt to support my stance as his heated lips continue to send zaps and bolts of electricity down my spine, nearly crippling me to the floor.God, this feels so good.
