Thirty: KAYDEN

I force a big ridiculous smile over my face, not feeling like saying anything. My mom hugs me and gives me a light peck on my left cheek.

"Alright big boy." She dusts off my shoulders. "Take care of yourself. I love you."

I know she gets on my nerves sometimes, but I still love her.

She hugs me again before turning to Lisa, Sandra and Ethan. She hugs them too before she leaves. At the door, she waves at us before disappearing outside and into the Black G-wagon she drove here in.
