Evvie’s POV:

I nodded and ordered a large iced matcha latte. Curious with the taste. I thought since I used to order their signature coffee when I was still with Zach, I should try something new.

After paying, I headed straight to the corner. Unfortunately, the only vacant table was located at the corner by the glass window. Right where I could see Zachary openly feed his pregnant fiancé. I gulped but headed there anyway. I decided to just ignore them and try not to look their way. It had two seats. No matter which one I take, I’d have a perfect view of the sickly sweet couple across me.

Stifling a groan, I forced my ass down and focused on my new latte. I took a sip and felt my eyes roll to the back of my head. It tasted so good.

Maybe my day wouldn’t be so bad after all, I thought, trying to gaslight myself.

Thirty minutes later, a petite woman with defined curves and strawberry blonde hair plopped down on the seat across me.

It was Pixie.

PLAUSIBLE...PERHAPS, BUT GABE WILL BE ALPHA. IF HE SLEPT W/THE GIRL AND IMPREGNATED HER, WHY WOULD SHE AGREE TO BE W/A BETA, INSTEAD? WHY WOULDN'T SHE DO EVERYTHING IN HER POWER TO SNAG THE ALPHA? JUST LIKE GABE TOLD EVVIE. IT'S PACK LAW...GET OVER IT!

I’m starting to think that d0uchebag gab set zach up. I think gab was the one who slept with her and got her pregnant but made it look like it was zach by making a deal with the skank so he gets away from being responsible for a baby.
