Kate POV
Seeing Lily in much better shape than I had seen her when she was still in the hospital was by far the best. I knew she was still experiencing headaches, but they were seemingly getting better. And she was still trying to piece things together about the attack on her. Standing there with tears in my eyes, we kept hugging each other. Even though I had seen her in the hospital after the attack, she wasn’t herself. Now I felt like I was seeing my Lily.

Jared POV Complete chaos. The gunshot rang out across the foyer of the Pack house. We heard screams from the event hall. Screams from around us.
