Luca’s POV

I slid out of the car and held my hand out to Sofia, which she resisted instantly and climbed out of the car as well. With the aid of the bright lights here in the compound, I was able to see her face properly. Her hair still looked like a hand had been run through it a whole lot, even though she had tried to straighten it down when we had started to pull into the house.

I made my way towards the entrance of the house with Sofia behind me and I waited for her to step into the house first before stepping in with her and pushing and locking the house behind me.

I pressed her against the wall along the hallway, when we’ve both taken our shoes off, and I noticed the eagerness in her eyes and actions. I leaned down and tugged her face upwards, claiming her mouth in a kiss that was deep and intense, but then it only lasted for a few seconds before I broke it.
