Ravenna

Blinking furiously, I squinted at the piercing white light that seeped through my vision. With my eyes coming into focus, I realized I was in a hospital room, pristine and white-colored. An intravenous injection was placed on my left wrist, dripping slowly from the bag.

To my right, I noticed a man sitting down beside me, heavily focused on his phone. Who was he? I'd never seen him before, but he seemed to have some similar features to Kalan, and I'm guessing he was familiar with Nevan since she left me with him.

“Where's...Nevan?” My voice came out scratchy and dry like a broken record which made me wince.

His head snapped up at my shaky voice and his features softened, dropping his intimidating stance before. His dark, charcoal-black hair was cropped, his olive skin glowing in contrast. His eyes were hazel, a mixture of green and brown with some gold flecks in them, making them mesmerizing to look at. He was easy on the eyes, and quite attractive to look at, just not as much
