I held Nevan close to me until her sobs subsided.

Stroking her hair, I thought long and hard about what I was going to do.

After thinking long and hard about a suitable plan, I finally managed to come up with a good one. I would have avoided it if I could, but this was the only way.

I know nobody was going to be on board with my plan and I didn’t expect them to. It is my decision and I don't want anyone to be involved in it.

If it comes down to saving Nevan, I would do it in a heartbeat.

The only problem now was breaking the news to the people.

They of course deserved to know my plans before I dived headfirst into them, yet I couldn't stop cringing, imagining their expressions and the look of pain on their faces once I told them.

It definitely wouldn't be easy, especially to Ravenna. I just wish she won't be too angry with me and I hoped she’d move on after I’m gone.
