Chapter 44

Mia’s Point of View

After dinner, Mia made her way to her room, feeling content and satisfied. She had enjoyed a delicious meal with her family, and now she was looking forward to some quiet time alone. Mia loved spending time in her room, especially at night when she could gaze out of her window and admire the stars.

As she sat in her window, lost in thought, Mia heard a knock on her bedroom door. She turned her head and saw Aspen standing in the doorway. Aspen greeted Mia with a smile and asked if she wanted something to drink.

Mia was surprised but pleased by Aspen's offer. He had always been a thoughtful and caring person, and Mia appreciated his kindness. "Sure, that sounds great," Mia said, smiling back at Aspen.
