Chapter Nine-I Choose Option Three

Layla was shocked to see Damian standing behind her.

She was not expecting him to since Kendra told her he won’t be coming back home.

Trying not to look suspicious, she tried to answer him even though she was finding it hard to put her words together.

“ Nowhere. I couldn’t sleep and wanted fresh air.” She lay with her head lowered to the ground.
