“ I'd have never guessed that at the end of the day you two would get married” Mr Liam said with a huge smile on his face, “to be honest sometimes I do purchase from the Withmore's, you know quality from you and her too”

We both laugh while holding hands, “oh Mr Liam” Lorraine says, “now you get the best of both worlds, win win no?”

“Indeed” he signs the document, “I can't wait to work with the both of you, it's always an honor”

“Thank you”I laugh a little and nod then stand up.

I entered the car and my hangover hit me like a wave. I took another Advil to calm my brain but it felt like a nail was being knocked into my head.

    LORRAINE: I hated this. I hated being in the same vicinity as Dexter. It annoyed me, it irritated me so my goddamn bones. I turn to the next page of my book, while he was just there sitting still and gripping the edge of his chair while staring blankly outside the window. “Relax or you'll ruin the chair” I say as I eat another grape, “what is wrong with you?” “Can you just ever shut up?     DEXTER: Time finally came for us to head back home and everything I was running away from, for example my father, came rushing in like a horrid wind. I couldn't understand how or what I was supposed to do to make Lorraine leave this marriage. “You don't look too excited to be going home” Lorraine says by my side as we wait in line to be checked at the airport. I take a deep breath in, “Not like you care, stop annoying me Lor, I'm not in the mood”. “Oh husband” she sighs and taps my shoulder, “till death and annoyance do us path. Now smile, they are cameras everywhere” she holds my cold hands and waves at a camera.************* Home still felt empty, quiet, void of emotions and stability and I loved it. I settle into my couch and take a deep breath in and out. I was finally out of the ‘Lorriane air’ and it made me feel somewhat relieved, I did miss her yapping but I was happy she was gone. I take my lazy self and head into the shower. “Lorraineee” I say in a singsong voice.

    MATTEO'S POV: “I was just dusting crumbs off her mouth” I say as I step away still looking at her, “she's yours”. She walks towards Dexter and holds his arm, “there's no need to cause a scene, come on let's go” they both walk away but she turns subtly to still look at me and my heart breaks even more.************ I enter my apartment, go straight to my room and plop on the bed out of exhaustion. I grunt and sit up and the fresh memory of Lorraine on Dex’s arm comes back to my memory and anger just fills my heart. I still didn't understand why she would decide to marry him of all people, he is a jackass for God sake! I hear crying in the janitor's closet and I open to see who it was, it was Lorraine.     LORRAINE'S POV: One week later….Waking up to the brightest sunlight and wrinkled sheets has now been the best thing ever since we landed in South Africa for our honeymoon. Dexter brought up the bright idea to explore animals overseas as a pass time for our so called ‘honeymoon’, I don't mind, anything to stay away from my blood sucking demon of a mother. I've done nothing but go to different Safari's, tried different African cuisines, bungee jumping, basically done everything I could possibly do on the itinerary. Dexter and I however have avoided each other like a disease, different hotels, different itineraries, different paths all through the last week and I am loving every last bit of it. Sadness however washes over me whenever I remember that I married or I look down on my finger and I see my ring shine back at me or when someone compliments my ring, it always reminds me that I don't have freewill concerning my life, I might have here in South Africa but never in life.
