Ghosting?

I was nervous for no apparent reason. I was restless and I was waiting for the hands of the clock to drop at seven o'clock because that was the start of the party. I kept my eyes on the door, waiting for the dean to come out wearing the costume I bought. This morning, the costume I ordered for the dean arrived in the afternoon. I prepared it for a week because I knew there was such an occasion and I'm hoping he would come.
