(Harpers POV)
I stared at myself in the mirror, fascinated by my new eyes. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the colour actually radiated several shades of gold in a starburst pattern that seemed to shimmer.

(Harper POV) The next morning at breakfast felt awkward. Colton had seated himself in his father’s normal seat at the end of the dining table.
