Liana could not move.

The mysterious figure remained kneeling before her, its silver eyes lowered respectfully.

"My Guardian..."

The words echoed through the chamber.

Kael immediately stepped between them.

"Get away from her."

The stranger slowly raised his head.

His expression remained calm.

"You still distrust me."

Kael tightened his grip around his sword.

"I don't know you."

The stranger smiled faintly.

"That is because your memories were never meant to remain."
