“I told you so,” Eddy says as he smirks when I meet him in the lobby. “You said you thought she looked basic, but?”
I chuckle, shaking my head, “I mean, she did clean up nicely,” I admit “I’m excited see how Patty fixes her tomorrow night for dinner.”
Eddy’s eyes widen and he shakes his head, “Really? You are going to bring that poor girl into your family drama?”
I shrug as Felicity walks up to us, “You are all set, Mr. Mosey,” she smiles, handing me a folder. “Everything is in here on the sale for your records.”
“Thank you,” I smile, but her eyes aren’t on me—they are on Eddy.
“How about I pick you up this weekend for a proper date?” Eddy smiles dashingly at Felecity and she nods. I shake my head as I listen to them talk, but a pounding on the front door startles us all.
“NO! STOP! LET ME IN!” A Woman screams. I look at Felecity, and she shrugs.
“Sometimes a wife shows up,” she pauses, “But it’s very rare,” she says quickly. “We are very discrete. It’s usually the ones who have Private Investigators tailing them without their knowledge.”
I nod, but I don’t think that’s what this is.
“Please, I need to see Molly!” the woman yells. “You saw us earlier, Molly Hale,” she begins, but just as she says that Molly runs past us, running out the front door, slamming into the security guards.
“Molly, thank god!” she yells, relieved. “I tried calling you- “she beings, but the door closes before I can hear what’s happening.
I look at Eddy before grabbing the folder, “I’ll call you later, Felecity,” he winks, and she giggles as we walk out of The Mirage, but as our car pulls up, I see Molly panicking.
“Eden, you left the car on the entire time?” She gasps and Eden looks around, seeing us
“Eddy!” she yells. “Can you give us a jump! Please! Molly needs to get to the hospital!”
Eddy runs towards them, trying to help, but he can’t- he came with me, and I came with my driver.
“I don’t have my car, Eden!” He sighs. “What’s wrong?”
I look at my watch; it’s 1:30 in the morning, meaning something is very wrong.
I look back and see Molly, she’s still wearing the Britney outfit, her eyes are black with mascara from crying, and I look to the street, “Come on, we’ll give you a ride.”
Eden looks at Eddy and then at Molly, but she doesn’t hesitate, she grabs her things and runs towards my car. Ian and Eddy follow suit and we all get inside as my driver looks at us in confusion, “Is everything okay, Mr. Mosey?” he asks and I nod, looking at Molly.
“Where are we going, Molly?” I ask her, but it’s almost like she’s shock. Her voice is quivering and low.
“The Children’s hospital on Belleview,” she barely says audible.
My driver nods and the car moves as I watch Molly bite her nails, nervously.
“What’s wrong?” Eddy asks and Eden sighs, filling us in.
“Molly’s mom has been trying to get a hold of her for a few hours. Olivia has spiked a fever, and they are worried she may go septic,” she pauses. “They want them all together incase….” She trails off.
“In case we have to say goodbye,” Molly says her words a whisper as tears stream down her face.
I can feel every bit of pain in her voice and my heart hurts for her, “Go ahead and drive faster, Kaiser.”
I know I said I didn’t care, but I’d be a monster if I didn’t care about a little girl dying… and I am not a monster.
“Her, Mols,” Eden says, handing her the clothes from her bag, “You can’t go in like that,” she pauses. “Your mother would freak.”
Molly takes the clothes, nodding slowly. She changes as discreetly as she can while Eddy and I look away.
I can tell Eden has lots of questions, but she knows it’s not the right time to ask. I mean, I would too if Eddy went into a run-down bar and came out looking like Channing from that stripper movie.
Molly hands Eddy the Britney outfit, “I don’t think I was supposed to keep this,” she says and he takes it from her, tucking it beside him.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take it back.”
I have just now noticed this entire time she hasn’t made eye contact with me…. And I am beginning to wonder why.
The car slows down and stops. Molly grabs the door handle before pauses, “Thank you,” she says, finally looking at me.
“You’re welcome,” I tell her and then she looks at Eden.
“Don’t worry, I’ll figure out your car,” Eden tells molly and she nods before getting out of the car quickly and runs inside the hospital, the automatic doors closing behind her.
Eden goes to grab the door handle to get out, but Eddy stops her, “That’s Molly’s car at the bar?” he asks and Eden nods.
“Yeah, I accidently killed the battery waiting for her,” she pauses. “I thought the job reference you had given her may have been illegal organ donation.”
I can’t help but chuckle, but Eddy gasps, offended, “You think I would have sent Molly somewhere to get her organs stolen?” he asks, wide eyed.
Eden laughs, nodding, but now feeling stupid, “Yeah, your right…. But we haven’t seen in years,” she smiles. “Besides on TV so I don’t know what you’re into now.” She jokes.
Eddy laughs, shaking his head, “Come on now… you know I’m not a crazy person.”
Eden laughs, “I guess, but what is that place?” She pauses, “A strip club?” she questions. “I wanted to ask Molly, but it wasn’t the right time. I never thought she would work at a place like this, but I know the restaurant doesn’t pay enough and now she’s desperate for money.”
“Back to Mirage,” I tell Kaiser and the car moves again.
I watch as Eddy becomes uncomfortable and she asks again, “So, it is a strip club….”
I nod, “It is, but for high class gentlemen,” I tell her, and her eyebrows raise.
“I know it looks like shit on the outside,” I say flatly, “but it’s discrete and safe,” I throw in. “Molly can make good money there and not have to worry about sleezeballs.”
Eden nods, but I am pretty sure she doesn’t believe me….
My phone vibrates and I take it out of my pocket, rolling my eyes and ignoring it, “Leslie? Again?” Eddy asks.
“Yep, she refuses to get the message.”
The car parks once again at The Mirage and Eden gets out of the car with Eddy behind her, “Hold on, I’m going to get her a jump.” He says before he walks to one of the bouncers.
My phone chimes again and I open it, looking at the video attachment. Leslie is completely naked. She poses seductively, turning the camera to get all good her angles, “I miss you, baby,” she says, her voice almost moaning. “Come back to me.”
I study the room she’s in, knowing it’s not hers, but a hotel room. I look in the videos background and see a suit jacket I recognize, hanging on a chair.
Rage fills me…..
This bitch is crazy if she thinks she can keep fucking my father and send me videos like this!
Molly“Where have you been?” My mom asks as she sees me with tears streaming down her face. I sigh, walking slowly into the room, my eyes falling on Olivia.“I’m sorry,” I say, my eyes meeting hers, “Are there any updates?”I watch as she shakes her head, “No, your father is getting coffee…. The doctor is waiting on her blood work,” she pauses, trying to hold back sobs. “She coded, Molly. They had to bring her back….. she coded,” she says again and I hold her close, letting her cry as I do the same.My little sister is on the brink of death now and I don’t know what to.“Here, I got you both lattes,” my father says, handing me and my mother both a coffee cup. “I’m glad you came, Molly,” he says, his words filled with sadness.“I’m sorry, I didn’t answer your call right away, I was at a job interview for a bar,” I begin, but the doctor walks into the room and we all stand up with anticipation, waiting to hear the news.“Mr. and Mrs. Hale,” he smiles faintly before looking at me, “And

MollyI freeze, my heart beating erratically! Can I do this? Oh, my god what was I thinking! “That’s you, sugar,” Barbie says, gently grabbing my arm. I smile seeing a familiar face, but I am panicking inside.“Just go out there. All you have to do is sit in the chair and read the book, okay?”I nod, slowly standing, “Britney? Are you having a moment?” The bidder asks. “It’s not another breakdown, isn’t it?” The Billionaires laugh and Barbie smiles, pushing me forward.“Go, it’s easy.” She reassures me.I nod, slowly walking on stage. The lights are so bright I can barely see, but the auctioneer greets me, placing is hand on the small of my back as he guides me to a sofa that sits on stage, “Here, sweetheart, have a seat.”I sit down, trying to pull my skirt down enough to cover myself, but I soon realize I can’t. My hands are sweaty, and I look beside me at the book, picking it up.“Are you okay, Britney?” The auctioneer asks, putting the microphone to my mouth.I smile nervously, “Y
Molly“Can you please scoot your bottom all the way to the edge of the table?” The Doctor doing my exam asks and I inhale sharply, scooting as far as I can. “Don’t worry,” she tells me. “Focus your weight on the stirrups and you won’t fall.”“Okay,” I chuckle nervously and she smiles, grabbing instruments from her medical table.“Is this your first vaginal exam?” she asks and I nod, tensing up.“Relax, it’s okay,” she tells me. “I am just going to use this speculum,” she pauses, “To open you up a little bit so I can make sure you hymen is intact, you may feel a little pressure, but it shouldn’t hurt.”I hold my breath as she pushes it inside me, “Now I’m just going to swab inside to check for STI’s or STD’s.”“But I’m a virgin,” I say softly. “I won’t have any of those.”I feel the swab, and she sighs, “You would be surprised how many of the girls lie about being virgins,” she says, closing my legs. “We have had three already fail the exam.”“Really?” I ask and she nods.“Really,” she
Tanner“Come on, Felicity? For me?” Eddy grins at the receptionist and she giggles, leaning forward to reveal more cleavage.“I can’t,” she says playfully, “It’s against the rules.”“Come on, know one need to know, but us,” Eddy smiles, reaching for her hand before winking. I watch as she places her hand in his and he kisses it, “Please? “He says, his eyes wide and hopeful.Felicity smiles as she stands, getting closer to both of us, “Fine, but you can’t tell anyone I did this. None of you are supposed to watch the interview,” she says her voice lowering, “It’s a bidding war for a reason, you know?”Eddy smiles, “I promise you, we won’t tell,” he grins as his eyes dart to me, and I nod.“I promise,” I reassure her, dashing my handsome smile. “It’ll be our secret.”She smiles at us both, reaching into her pocket for office keys, “This way,” she says, motioning us to follow. “Candice is interviewing her in office 6.”Eddy nods as he grins at me, “See,” he mouths. “Nothing to it.”I roll
Molly“This is the place?” My best friend Eden asks me as we both stare at the rundown bar. This place is literally falling apart. Even the Florissant sign is failing. It’s supposed to read ‘The Mirage’, but the I isn’t lit so it reads: The Mrage. “This is where Eddy said you could make more money than you have ever dreamed of?” she asks, looking at the weird lit sign and then back at me.I look back down at the napkin, the address is written on, nodding. “Yep, this is the place,” I say, my heart racing.Eden shakes her head fiercely, “How? By someone stealing one of your organs?! NO, Molly you cannot go in there!” she says, her voice stressed and her eyes wide as she looks at me, “It could be dangerous!”“Eden, I don’t have a choice,” I say as I reach over her, grabbing a piece of paper from the glove compartment, and handing it to her.I watch as her eyes almost bug out of her head, “FORECLOSURE?” she gasps, “But your parents said you are fine!”“They are obviously lying, Eden.”
