I made it back to the clubhouse twenty minutes after leaving Volkov's warehouse.

Marco was waiting outside.

Arms crossed. Face thunderous.

"Inside," he said. "Now."

I followed him through the clubhouse to his office.

The second the door closed, Marco exploded.

"What the hell were you thinking?" he demanded. "Going alone to meet the Russian mob? They could have killed you. Kept you. Used you as leverage against Axel-"
