“Fuck, hell no!” The one who was in the accident shouted. “My bike!” The Viking looking biker was hunched on the road, lamenting over his wheels. Goddess, he should be more concerned about the state he is in I thought as I took in the scene. The wolf’s leg was bent in three places and the left side of his arm was almost scraped to the bone.

“We got this, go on we are fine!” Two were shouting at the mowing crew oblivious to me; they blocking the mowing teams’ path from going to the other biker, obviously trying to hide his fast healing rate. One of the men shooing them on looked to be almost forty and had brown hair and brown eyes.

I made my way to the Viking, intent on helping hide all of the blood from the humans. “Goddess, my baby…” the man lovingly picked up a broken mirror and looked at it in his hands.

“Can I get you anything to help?” I asked again, standing six feet away.

The wolf finally looked at me with his baby blue eyes, a slight mist to them. “Oh, thank Goddess you are a wolf! I don’t see you there.” The man’s stomach growled loudly then, almost sounding like a motorcycle itself. “I hate to ask, but do you have anything to eat? I skipped a nice meal this morning to race the jackass behind me.” He indicated the third man, spreading more blood about him; the arm now somewhat knit back together.

The third man finally turned around his red hair standing out like a traffic light. “I heard that, idiot. It was your idea to begin with, seeing as how smooth and straight these roads are.” The mowing team had finally been persuaded to drive away, making the other two join them both.

“Here, let me go and get something then.” I turned to the house and ran inside. The sooner they were able to clean up all that blood, the less likely someone would try to stop and help. Reaching inside the house, I turned to the macarons I had left over from last night. I had about two dozen left of the assorted cookies; I always brought more home with me when I baked them at the bakery. “These should do, the sugar should make the healing kick in faster.” I handed them to the Viking, who took a handful and shoved them into his mouth.

“Thsm arrr mamsjng!” He said through a mouthful of cookies.

“Save some for the boss, ya idiot. You might need to get in his good graces now that we might have to stay here until Monday to fix this shit.” The brown haired one said.

Viking guy nodded his head in agreement and saved six of the cookies, giving them to the redhead to hold. “Thanks Misses, I feel better already.” The skin had begun to knit faster now, and the leg was almost straight again. He held out his good hand to me. “I’m Axel by the way, and this is Chip and Gage.” He said as he pointed to the brown haired one and the red head in turn.

“It’s Miss, and no problem.” I looked over the bike as I shook his freshly knitted hand gingerly. “Shit, that is a mess.”

“Yah, I’m going to have to ask our boss to talk with your alpha about extending our stay to fix this mess that the idiot caused.” Chip glared at Axel, visibly pissed at him.

“I can link him now if you’d like, so that way he knows to expect him if you’d like.” I offered.

“I knew I liked the women in this town,” Gage said with a smile.

I blushed and linked Alpha Scott. Hello Alpha, I am sorry to intrude; but there has been an accident here on the border in front of my house.

Is everything alright? Alpha Scott linked quickly.

One of the bikers from the gang wiped out on some fresh cut grass the city workers left in the road, and they are going to ask their boss to talk to you about extending their time to fix it. I looked around, waiting for a response and making sure no vehicles were driving our way. We still needed to get rid of all of the blood.

I’ll see their leader in the morning, I have a few minutes to spare before your appointment. But it will probably be for only the ones who need to stay here. The pack is too busy as it is right now for the rest of the month. With my wedding and the summit, they have to go. With that, Alpha Scott ended the link to me.

“He said he has a small opening for appointments before ten thirty tomorrow if your boss can make it.” I told the trio.

Axel was standing now, propping up his ruined motorcycles. “That should work, right Chip?” Axel asked.

“I’ll let the boss know, now let’s go about cleaning up this mess.” The four of them ended up picking up pieces of the bike, and soon enough I had my garden hose out and spraying down the street; getting rid of any trace of blood.

The trio soon departed as the sun was setting, the ruined bike propped in between the two working ones, Axel and Gage riding tandem. At least they didn’t try to hit on me like the one from the other day I thought as I went back inside. I decided to make some doughnut dough for in the morning, knowing that Alpha Scott would be too busy with planning to stop and get something like he normally would on each Monday.

I went to bed with the thoughts of Teddy again dancing in my head. He was rather attractive the more I thought about it. Sleep soon fell, and I was going to regret having thought of that sexy biker again.

We had done Nix’s ceremony last week on the full moon, making sure all of our loose ends were tied up when it came to Dominion; and as a thanks she had let me visit with my parents for a while, both of them fawning over me and exited Nix would be showing them my wedding. There was also the surprise of another pup waiting for me with them, a little girl if I was not mistaken. The little wolf pup was almost the spitting image of my father’s, her eyes a startling blue as well. I smiled to myself then, glad that Teddy hadn’t noticed the morning sickness yet, I wanted to surprise him on our honeymoon. Heather was to my left as I held out my bouquet of flowers to her as Alvin gave me away to Teddy; her little girl with shocking red hair and brown eyes, Meadow, playing with the pail of flower petals still. I smiled at Teddy as Beta Walter began to speak. “Wolfkin who are gathered, we are here in love and in life, in honor of our Goddess and her way of blessings. We honor these

One year later Melody’s POV I stood at the door leading outside, Alvin at my left side. “I’m still mad at you for never telling me any of that!” I teased my uncle, poking him in the side as we waited. “Well, no one really asked me about anything here in America, so I liked being treated as a regular human being, no harm in that.” He shrugged at me. It turned out that Alvin had been a member of the SAS for the British, having been honorably discharged at a young age when a bomb shattered his leg, hence the cane. When he had joined his law firm, he had already had the clearance required for them to deal with their more ‘select’ clientele. His specialty had always been with swords, and training with wolves had given him an edge that few could surpass. He had taken down Axel’s mentor Hogarth within five minutes, making the Viking follow him around any time they were together now. The music changed outside, making me hold Alvin’s hand more tightly. “Are you re

Jude’s POV My Goddess… I was frozen on my feet as they wheeled the supposed hero of the war into the hospital wing, his scent hitting me like a freight train. When I saw his face as well, I felt the blood rush from my head and go straight to my toes, leaving me woozy and feeling ill. “Not like this…” I whispered. “Save Axel! Don’t touch me, focus on him first!” Melody yelled at the staff, using her alpha voice to get them to back off. The Doctor yelled at me again, spurring me into action and getting me out of my haze. I needed to save this wolf at all cost, not only to yell at him for never coming back for me, but to also make sure he knew he had four beautiful little girls in the world waiting for him. How the drunk I had hooked up with at the bar turned out not only to be my fated, but also that he saved our Queen was beyond me, but I could not afford to hesitate anymore. “Scalpel; clean off this area here.” The doctor gave orders for what seemed like hours, cutting

Axel’s POV That’s my boy! I was impressed with Teddy, not knowing that he could hot wire a vehicle, let alone do it in such short amount of time. It was a dick move of Dominic commanding Melody to do that as we ran, but she shouldn’t have to hold out much longer. We made it to the dock as Teddy sped off, sirens in the distance and getting closer to our location. “Keith! Stay behind and wait for Hogarth! Make sure he gets out alright.” Keith nodded at me and stayed behind, running back from the way I had come. He has pups and a wife at home, it’s not his fault he’s a brainwashed puppet just fallowing commands. But Luke, yah, he could die for all I cared. The bastard had it coming anyway. “As soon as we get on the boat, I’m making the call to clear the way!” I could see the waiting boat just at the end of the dock, making my heart skip in my chest as adrenaline started to flood me at the impending disaster. As soon as we jumped on, settling in with Hans Chambers and Luke, I

Teddy’s POV “What do we do now?!” I yelled at Axel, spitting up water. The walls of the room allowed for no traction to go back, the door being at least ten feet above us. “He said it was about halfway down to get out when he jumped through. I had to try and get rid of Hogarth though before joining them. I couldn’t very well take on that monster as well as Dominic to get Melody away!” “Then what about Alvin!! Melody will kill me if he dies, he’s her only family she has left.” “Don’t worry about the old man; he’s a legend of himself among the enforcers. Not many humans can take on two full grown wolves with only a sword as protection, his lawyer work was more of a hobby than anything; now dive!” Axel took a big gulp of air before going under the water, leaving me more confused than ever. Who the fuck was this guy and what did he do with the idiot I knew? Went through my head as I took a lung full of air and joined him in swimming down. And how the fuck is Alvin cons

I could see the moment his death became clear in his eyes, the options for them both bleak. Revenge was a good motivator though as he used his own blood to spell out ‘basement’ on the floor. I did not keep him waiting as I twisted his head to break his neck, the line that was trying to heal making it tear as I did, almost severing his head completely off. “Basement!” I yelled over the crowd, Alvin hearing me above the noise and nodding his head. We made our way as a pair, his silver armor a deadly combatant to the opposing wolves. It sizzled and smoked with each splatter of werewolf blood, making the eighty year old man the most deadly looking being to face these wolves; almost like walking death. I fought my hardest to protect any impacts or even wolves aiming for his head, Alvin already being too frail as an aging human. “This way, Uncle!” I called to him as I began to sprint, seeing drops of blood making a clear path of where they had taken off to, some of them smelling like M
