The sound of the elevator beeped twice and I made it to the first floor with Khalid. Matthias was standing outdoors with Bernard, surrounding themselves with police officers and detectives.

''Thank you, sir, I appreciate it,'' Bernard said, ''Matthias, are you alright?''

''Yes, thank you for that honestly, I didn't see it coming,'' Matthias sighed. ''But, I'll pay for the expenses--''

''--No, you don't have to do that, I'll pay for it. Have a nice night Matthias,'' He said. Bernard gave me a half-smile and went back inside to the venue. Matthias didn't say a word to me but I knew at that moment he wanted to go home.

Unraveling my dress, I took off my heels leaving them onto my shoe-organizer. I walked out of the walking-closet with my towel on my hand, opening the bathroom door.
