I lost my balance and fell on my back but the person who had pulled me back, took the hit as I landed on his body.

I heard a painful groan as he freed his hold on me. I rolled to the side, so he could get up but unfortunately, struck my head against a stone and began to bleed from the head.

The last thing I saw before I blacked out was the silhouette of a much older man as he stood in front of me and tried to get me up.

I opened my eyes to the smell of disinfectant. I looked around the room and struggled to adjust to the light, I was in a hospital room. My head had been bandaged and beside me sat a man whom I later found out was in his early fifties.

He smiled at me, causing me to become alarmed since people were usually not nice to me. I tried to get up but it all came back to me; the betrayal and humiliation I had suffered at the hands of Brad Stanton.

I suddenly remembered the man beside me as the person who stopped me from jumping over a bridge. My heart was in a lot of pain
