Chapter 33

"I will freshen up," Nik said and walked into the bathroom. But he came back in the next minute. "I forgot to remove this," he smiled and slowly took off the blue bag supporting her shoulder.

As he turned back to hit the bathroom, Lily asked, "Can you remove your shirt?"

"It's fine, I can manage." He lied and went in. He didn't want Lily to be uncomfortable and didn't want to be aroused because of her touch.

After 30 min, he walked out with a robe. That was the most difficult bath. He felt that it would be better not to bathe than to take such a tiresome bath.

Lily was sitting on the bed and seriously scrolling over the phone. She was unbothered when Nik came out.

'What's she looking that seriously? About Drake!' He tightened his jaw and put on his bag. "What are you looking at?"

"Certificates. All my documents are in my house. Kai said that scanned copies would be sufficient for now. So, I am checking my mail and drive." she muttered, narrowing her eyes on the small screen.
