Chapter 14: Meeting again

Olima was absent-minded and walking down the estate road, leading down to her family house. She hadn't eaten since the previous night, and she could feel her stomach growling out so loud in hunger.

She didn't even care about the cars that were driving past her along the road, as she knew it was already evening and nightfall was fastly approaching.

With the sudden change of weather, Olima knew that it would soon rain heavily, and she was crying as she continued with her trekking home.

She missed her parents and wished they were both alive and hadn't visited her school nor abandoned her to the care of her wicked stepmother.

She could hear the sound of a car honking its car horn behind her back, but she was sure that she wasn't walking on the main road for any car to hit her or to ram over her.

With tears filled in her eyes, Olima continued trekking home slowly, not until a figure that seemed familiar to her stepped down from the car that was parked ahead in front of her, and he rush
